Clones, Feminized, Auto Flower - Inferior?

I'm a bit new at this, and have been reading about different strains, etc.

As I understand it, a clone is an exact copy of the mother, but is slightly inferior.

The feminized seeds are made from clones, so they are also inferior.

Autoflowering seeds have Ruderalis genetics, so it would seem that those seeds are also inferior.

I can't see why anyone would waste their time using fem's or auto's.

I understand about not wanting to waste time and space with males, but it doesn't seem wise to sacrifice quality. If anyone see's a flaw here, I'm listening.

I think that clones are weaker than seeds but some fems Ive grown are as strong as any reguler beans.Im growing four of subcools seeds and Pot of Gold ,all reguler seeds. My Mandala#1 fems were the best seeds Ive bought.Ive paid almost 200$ for ten pack that was no where near as strong as a 25.00 pack of M#1

Clones are an exact genetic copy of the mother. How is that inferior?

Feminized seeds are produced by forcing a female plant to pollinate itself, retaining the same genes it started with. Could potentially hermie, but not inferior.

Autfoflowering do contain Ruderalis...but that alone doesn't NECESSARILY make them inferior. Lots of Auto's these days are crossed with pretty potent strains.

Seeds are not necessarily stronger than a clone because you get different phenotypic expression from each seed...making it hard to determine what the plant will be like. If you have a clone from a strong mother plant you know you'll have a strong clone, because they are an exact genetic copy.

Mr Therapy: As someone who only has room for one strain at a time, I am interested in this Moscas strain you call the "holy grail." What qualities, genetics, etc, make it special?

My next grow will probably be from Subcool. What's your take on your Subcool plants so far, and which Subcool varieties are you growing?

What an awesome, yet daunting job it is to pick a strain. They all look so awesome. I started with a wish list of 25, and had to narrow that down to 2.

Im vegging SB,SQ,Chernobleand JTR.the JTR and chernoble are smoking the the bomb and qeen .Jtr is vigorous as hell. You can believe all the hype.Ive grown enough seeds to know when Ive got something special. This cindy 99 is bread from the original brothers grimm seed stock.this is basicaly what give subs gear its power. These seeds take about 50 days and almost pure sativa, inergetic buzz.By the way I know a clones are the same genetic makeup,it just seems seeds are stronger to me.Which of subs gear was looking at? peace

Sorry, pretty much a flaw with everything you said. You said it yourself a clone is an EXACT copy, so it cant be inferior. Fem seeds are from a fem mother stressed for pollen. The only trait taken from the ruderalis is the autoflower, the potency is from the genetics.:joint:
