clones are looking grim, pics inside

i used clonex rooting gel and clonex solution.... are staying green but leaf tips are drying up and getting crunchy :/
... dunno what i'm doing wrong , any suggestions?

hey bro couple things. i think your humiditys to low. im not a big fan of spraying cuttings if u did that, but i saw my girlfriend spray with jump start from advanced nuitrients. they did great. also maybe u left a little too much follige on those cuttings. good luck

Not at all to late, just take a clean pair of sharp scissors and cut off at least a third the length of the bigger fan leaves just a few fan leaves. Start with any part of the end of the leaf that is chloratic or dead. Drooping is normal so is some leaf death cuz the plants arn't taking up nutrient. Clipping off the ends of bigger fan leaves allows the plant less stress from respiration all its attention needs to be directed at rooting. good luck

id leave it. did u cut a 45 on the bottom of the stem, then scrape the end of it to expose the cambium?

Hey man like mango frog said, you're humidity is definitely to low, do you have ventilation holes in the dome? if so I think its to big or to much. Some growers wait until just before feeding the mothers before taking clones, resulting in clones rooting faster cause the leafs has less stored nitrogen.
I prefer to spray them as well. It gives them all the moisture they need cause they don' have any roots to deliver water.
Everyone has their own way.
And the biggest secret to cloning is...
Patience.

I cant say humidity is to low when their drenched as crap. Now the crisping I saw is definately them drying out. So I am with the others but with a little different perspective. THATS what you need to learn the correct way. I agree theres a little to much greenery on them, I take my clones at a height of 2 inches roughly. I have tried cloning a 3 footer off an outdoor plant sucker as an experiment but it didnt do anything good. The too much greenery is a big issue.

thnks guys, I did cut at a 45, but did not scrape it i was advised not to, since this is my first grow and first set of clones ( did not want to get air in there), I also switched from 4 floro t-5, to 1 cheap plant floro, i think the t-5's were to hot and drying up the place, humidity has raised, will do some cutting

Those clones are pretty large. You might lose several despite all efforts. Less leaves, smaller cuttings=higher% of viable clones.

i'm using a cheapo GE plant florescent, resting on top of the humid-dome , my other florescent lights are too hot and were dehydrating everything, I did some trimming of the foliage which helped a lot. The stems feel much stronger now.... i'm going to post some pics up later in the week.

I mix AN Nirvana with water and foliar feed. Make sure your ionizer/mister (whatever the fuck it's called) is set to the smallest droplets possible. High humidity. Some Light. Some TLC. That's all you need.

i would say try not to mist your cuttings so much let the humidity in your propogator feed em also how hot is it in there an if the light is too powerfull for them they will drop make sure the rw cubes are just moist not wet so you could get drips outta them you want your cutting to force roots out with r/w cube being to wet this is not gonna happen your likely to get some stem rot due to being to wet jus what the pics look like they looked soaked to increase humidity you could boil a kettle put boiling water in a cup an put it in your prop as the steam will increase humidity as said try not to mist cuttings so much let the humidity do its thing cut some fan leafs finger in half an wait jus my 2 pennies worth

one more thing just use 1 0r 2 little cfls 23 watt maybe or flouro tube 20 watt dont put them in window sill as sunlight will make them droop an what i said in the other post peace

well it has been a few days and things are looking better! I was finding it difficult to keep the humidity up with the heat from the mat and lamp, then I thought.... hydroton... duh! why didn't I think of that before?!?!? ( first time grower ) so keeping the rocks wet, and watering with clonex every 2-3 days seemed to be the trick! I lost one, but it was an extra clipping that I just wanted to test if it could make it. Thanks to everyone who helped out, your tips came in handy!

shit is super wet... i clone in 30% rh without a hitch, and only lightly mist 3-4 times daily the first couple days... you are drowning your plants.

i should have said was super wet, nice recovery btw...

did you pre soak the rock wool cube? that stuff come with a crazy ph issue, you got to stablize it before you use it, the lime in it what causes its
to me it looked like the ph was flip flopping, why i use rappid rooters now, they look good now though

yea its wet because I had just watered, not spraying the leaves anymore just watering the cubes and adding a little water to keep the dome foggy, yea I presoaked,
