Cloneing into soil?

Can i directly place a new clone into soil? would doing that cause problems....i'm taking a clone from the plant in the first pic and plannin on placing it into a pot the same size as the 2nd pic....would this be ok?

i did and they rooted in seven days,then they got over fert for some reson,so now i'm trying perlite and 10% soil to water it down a little.

Depends on if they are rooted or not. If they are rooted then you shouldn't have any problems, if they aren't then I think you'll have a 50/50 chance at it.

The better way is to take a clone and put it in a glass of water and let the roots form in usually about a week. The better way is to get an aquarium pump and airstone and put in the same glass. You should get almost 100% rate of getting roots that way.
