i have a couple clones that i am workin on and i seem to be havin trouble. i have them on a 24 hour light cycle and they were getting droopy. so i decided to let thm have some dark. they i hgave them 6 hours of dark and they perked right up. what is the bet light cycle for new clones? . the heat stayes around 78 so i dont think its that.

i am currently in the process of some trials at the moment my results so far are as follows 18/6 is quicker to root than 24 the roots also look stronger, i have come to the conclusion that they need the 6 hours dark to grow roots.i have also found that clones root a little slower in powder than gel but the plants seem to go better with the powder the clones look more vigourous.i have only trialed 2 clone crops of 20 clones this far but will continue watching the results as you could hardly call the results conclusive but my tests so far have supported my information.

see that's what i did 24/0 and i've had no luck with them so i'm assuming they do need some dark i'm going to put 18/6 for one then 12/12 for another (i'm using schultz take root powder and in a soil medium)

From my own trials i have found that 18/6 works best for me give the roots time to grow also. I have also tried different mediums and the best i found was peat moss with a lot of perlite, it worked better then soil ( a lot better)

the soil i'm using has peat moss and perlites so we shall see how well this works thanks for the input
