Clone candidates or too young ???

Hi gang, I've done a lot of searching, reading here and watched videos on utube about cloning, but I'm not sure 100% if my areas I want to take clones from are ok to use or too young. I was hoping to get advice from the more experienced growers who post here. I have attached 4 photos, 3 are images of the two bottom stems I want to use for clones, the other image is of the plants first sign of Female flowers that I spotted today, this is day 3 for flowering. :weed:

Thanks and look forward to your replies.

for best clones 2 months veg growth but possible & done all the time at about 1 month. problem is ur already in flower. u could take a clone now but it is going to take probably 3 weeks to get it to go back to veg stage & be slow & stunted from the switch & it will be harder to take root. suppose to take clones from vegging plants.

The plants are one month and 4 day's old, and have been in a 14-10 light cycle for 3 days. I read a number of threads here that you can take a clone in the first two weeks of flower. This is what I based my info on... I guess the real question here is, if you look at my photo of the steam, the first two fan leaves are now showing new node growth, small but it's there, if I where to cut my steam at the stalk and then once in water make my second cuts up there by the fan/new nodes, is that big enough to use? I'm not worried about time to root, I wanted to make sure their Female first.

Thanks for the replies, both of you. I plan to take them this evening before lights out, unless anyone thinks there is a better time to do it... Having never done it I have no idea.
