What is the lowest watts that can grow bud. I got a little over 500wattson six plant and thinking of geting 5x of the 300watts i seen at homedepot for $10.00

I think you can grow bud on any wattage of light. But to grow good bud you need alot. Right now I've got 12 26 watters on my 2 plants, and they're loving it.

Also are you talking about actual wattage of CFL's, or incadescent equivalent wattage? Because I've never seen 300 watt CFL's for $10 at HD.
