Circulating Fan during Lights Off

Hello,

I am thinking of changing my Circulating Fan to run only when lights on - so the plants will have a "normal nighttime environment, it's never windy at night".

I will run my 4" outbound Exhaust Fan (189CFM) at MEDIUM 24/7 (with two 4" inbound ducts).

I will run my Small De-humidifier whenever humidity goes over 47% - I can control that through iPhone and Sensor Push.

I will change my Osculating Fan to run only when my lights are on - it will actually be daisy chained to my light hood (& Timer) This will save money, help produce a normal quiet nighttime environment for the plants, and humidity will be controlled by dehumidifier)

Does anyone see an issue with this?

I always have air movement in my space, regardless of lights on or off. This gets to be even more important when they are loaded with flower-airflow is vital to prevent mold, mildew and rot problems.

Humidity goes up during dark period. You want some circulation, don’t need a lot just enough

Like I said, I have a dehumidifier that runs with lights out. I'll just keep the little small ceiling 7" fan on all the time - but the bigger/circulating fan will go out with lights out.

I was told good circulating (some small wind) makes the plants / stems much stronger. I guess this is true?

That’s exactly what I would do. Just enough fan to move air around just a little.
