circular light movers

Seems kinda silly to me. I mean the purpose of a mover is to cover more area with less lights. That mover seems like it would just fluctuate light a tiny bit over one area, maybe making coverage a bit more even. I mean, i guess it seems like a reasonable theory but def not worth $500 to me. This is unless you are only gonna use 1 light with the mover, and use it to cover the entire circle. 5 lights is also not something I would personally buy online, but people do it all the time with no issues. I get paranoid walking out of the hydro store.

I first saw these things years ago, wormsway.com, they were called a suncircle, way to expensive for what your getting, but I do like them. with modern hood ventilation and all i think it would be a little difficult to set up. it will expand your effective lighting area tho.

Why would you plan to run a 1000w light dimmed 50%? Why not just run a 400w light if that's what you want? Dimming the lights is something that I only do when it gets too hot. The spectral change is a good trade off for temperature control. It's not worth the cost of multiple bulbs to swap them in and out so the dimming feature is nice.

I run my 1000w at 1000w 95% of the time. I really like dimming on the occasional random day that ends up being too warm, but I certainly didn't buy it planning on running it at 50% all of the time.
