Cigarettes, cigarettes, smoke em up
Lucky for me, a pack costs only one buck,
When will the mainstream realize
That cigarettes need to be socialized!
A cig for me a cig for you
You bring the ashtray and I'll give you two
Depression, anxiety, I'll make a bet
There's never a bad time for a cigarette!
Some might call me an enabler
But I just want to share one with him or her!
A home bum walking down the street
I'm quick to offer a delicious treat!
Coffee and cigs is a match made in heaven,
If I geek out enough I could even smoke seven!
I'm on probation it's all I can smoke,
Just as long as I stay off the dope!
I love making cigarette poetry
I can't stress enough that they need to be free!
When I smoke I stay out of range
So please, please don't look at me strange
Recently lost my corn cob pipe
But with a fresh pack no more tears to wipe!
So keep your lozenge and nicotine patch
I lost my lighter do you have a match?
So you don't smoke cigs at least you think
I'm not so sure when you drink
I smoke out back at the local club
And take women home n give em some love
I'm not concerned about when I get old
I'm more concerned about this freezing cold
Cigs are that bad so you say
The fact is nonsmokers die every day!
The line above is some Bill Hicks humor
I really hope I don't get a tumor!
When I need my cigarette lit
I always turn to my trusty Bic
My father passed away at fifty three
Didn't smoke cigs far as I could see
My grandma lived all the way to eighty eight
Smoked most her life so please don't hate
Cigs effect each person differently
It's a conundrum at least for me
If you don't smoke cigs please don't whine
I even heard God smokes from time to time
I'm feeling goosebumps all over my skin
Smoking cigarettes is for the win
I roll my own so I'm never broke
Imma smoke the fuck outta them til I croak
I inhale every puff
Good thing I got plenty of this stuff
The history of tobacco strange but true
Whites didn't start smoking til 1492
By the roll of the dice my skin is white
I'm not giving up smoking without a fight
Any skin color you're welcome to join
Feel free to pitch in if you got some coin
My cigarette poetry comes from the heart
If you don't smoke, now's a good time to start
You know nicotine is hardly a drug
Come smoke outside NA and I'll offer a hug
For smoking cigs, I won't go to jail
No handcuffs or cop rides or stressing about bail!
I've tripped balls on shrooms and analyzed this shit
There's nothing you can say to make me quit
Smoking outside on the back patio
There's something about cigs where I've got this flow
Only thing that trumps cigs is Ecstasy
But get caught making it, class A felony
I know I know I had a seizure on spice
But I could smoke a carton a day if I'm tweaking on ice
I am well aware I have drug OCD
But cigarettes help so I smoke when I pee
It's also fun to smoke on the shitter
I sure as hell ain't no one-hit quitter
Fuck smoking laws, rules, and control
Hang out with me and see how I roll
Thinking of cigs gives me inspiration
Maybe liberal arts is my new vocation!

I smoke all day, I smoke all night
I smoke like it's my inalienable right!
Smoking strong in 2019
Goddamn I'm such a nicotine fiend
You drunken poets have you a rival
With enough cigarettes I could write a Bible
You really think that cigs cause cancer?
Smoking them is the fucking answer
I doubt I'll be quitting soon
End to end my cigs will reach the moon
I love smoking cigs just for show
It's a good way to boost my false ego
Smoke in the rain, smoke in the snow
Make sure the tip of your cigarette glows

Quit now, save your lungs for the good stuff!

Lol

Just giving you grief, brother.

I've always been a nonsmoker. I sold cigars for awhile when I lived in Florida; I never felt like such a fucking pusher in my whole life as I did then lol

I honestly don't get the addiction, likely because I never picked up the habit. My folks played a role in that they smoked both until I was about 10, then they first quit smoking, then quit weed. Since weed smelled better and made them happy, I guess it was natural I'd prefer it!

I think I do want to quit eventually, but there are too many "quick-fixes" to my life problems that cigarettes remedy.

Another line of my poetry is:

Police know me as a 1096
That just means I need my nicotine fix

The IRS has seen your fat 1099

But there's no way that smokes like fine wine.

Yes my aunt has lung cancer right now lifelong smoker, my buddies mother died from it a few years ago lifelong smoker as well. I came close to giving it up a couple nights ago but I psyched myself out of it. I've tried to quit twice in the past three years I went 10 days and 15 days cold Turkey. Now I'm on welbutrin and it has cut my smoking in half from 2 packs a day to just one, but still have been unable to quit. It's pretty sad but I'm actually hoping for a heart attack or stroke to end it quick, I know another girl 42 years old her heart just stopped she didn't even flinch she didn't even know she was going. As for your wife I wish her the best with the operation, all I can say is that pain is temporary and death is nothing to be afraid of, we all have to face our own mortality.

2packs a day? Holy shit. I get nervous about my health from smoking a half of a pack a day for the last 15 years. Trying to quit now.
I bought the Smok Novo and a bunch of salt nicotine that helps with the cravings but every time I get hella high or drink I want a real cigarette. Need to just give it up for good

My sister started smoking at 14, that's 30 years ago by now. She is 7 years younger than me but looks like my older sister.

My mom has 19 years on me. She put them down when I was ten and she looks like my younger sister!

Part I.

This Indian weed now wither'd quite,
'Tho green at noon, cut down at night,
Shows thy decay;
All flesh is hay.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

The pipe so lily-like and weak,
Does thus thy mortal state bespeak.
Thou art ev'n such,
Gone with a touch.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

And when the smoke ascends on high,
Then thou behold'st the vanity
Of worldly stuff,
Gone with a puff.
Thus think and smoke tobacco.

And seest the ashes cast away;
Then to thyself thou mayest say
That to the dust
Return thou must.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

Part II.

Was this small plant for thee cut down?
So was the plant of great renown;
Which mercy sends
For nobler ends.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

Doth juice medicinal proceed
From such a naughty foreign weed:
Then what's the pow'r
Of Jesse's flow'r?
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

The promise, like the pipe, inlays,
And by the mouth of faith conveys
What virtue flows
From Sharon's rose.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

In vain th' unlighted pipe you blow;
Your pains in inward means are so,
'Till heav'nly fire
Thy heart inspire.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.

The smoke, like burning incense tow'rs
So should a praying heart of yours,
With ardent cries,
Surmount the skies.
Thus think, and smoke tobacco.
