Christiana - Copenhagen

anybody ever been? Supposedly a slightly sketchy openair pot/hash market. Im going to be in cpg this summer and it would be nice to get some hash there. I assume its all shipped in? I saw a few pics and the flowers looked mids at best. Big chunks of hash though. Is there a big grow movement there? have to be indoor i suppose.

Been there, but things change in Christiania pretty quick. Last I heard you can still get decent weed. Don't be so fussy. Respect the places' history and uniqueness. You want variety and quality? Go to Denver.

There has been a lot of talk about shutting it down. It has not happened yet. For a long time it was one of two places in the EU you could regularly get weed and hash. So don't be a total dick if the quality isn't up to your current standards. That would make you look so....... American.

Personally I'd keep my expectation low (for weed, hash) and enjoy everything else about the place.

Danish women can be quite amazing - if you like tall Amazonian types.

I wouldn't call them amazons. Tall, yes, but I am a giant among men. I find their progressive morals and loose concept of marriage rather refreshing. Plus, all that licorice makes their breath fresh. Yup, everybody hates them leggy blondes.

It's not as relaxed there as it was many years ago. It used to be a hippy town. I've got Danish friends here. You will be able to buy quite easily there I'd imagine and especially if you know people.

im expecting expensive. Ill be bringing wax with me but wanted to pickup something while there in case I have to make a panic dump in the airport or something

I obviously dont know anybody there. Im wondering if its like the Amsterdam of a few years ago where its out and open and I can buy it. Im not looking to sketch out down backalleys following a hippie for some weed. Most posts seem to make it out to be a open market.

Any sort of chaos or rebellion has long ago been squeezed out of the place - aside from the weed on pusher street. It is a tourist trap with weed (which makes it better than most tourist traps). The nice thing about it is that it gives you a chance to stock up before Sweden. Sweden is a desert for all drugs.

No, not ALL Americans. Just most - but we're getting better. And now that the Chinese are traveling, we look even better in comparison.

Sorry, Americans abroad have made me very, very sad in the past. Mostly because most of us are ignorant slobs but also because more than 40% of us actually voted for Mitt Romney. Mitt fucking Romney! Ps, the mermaid is tiny and there are about 100 old women between you and it. Go get some sushi instead, fucking Danes have great sushi ($$$$$$$$!) Or go grab a Tuborg and sit on the waterside.

I would skip Tivoli too.

my favorite is sitting in a swiss restaurant with some family from ohio nearby. I could hear her complaining that the bread was stale and hard. This was good homemade swiss bread with thick crust and soft middle. pretty bad.
as to mitt vs obozo. i would have taken mitt in a minute. but theres a whole forum section for that type talk. Lets keep it civil and stoney over here man

Arriving in Stockholm airport a few years ago to find sniffer dogs running all over the luggage belts was my worst airport experience. The officials look hardcore and the dogs, uh well trained! Denmark should be fine but Sweden is not going to be easy.

ill be on a cruise ship. Im leaving out of sweden so I dont really care. Ill smoke my last on the ship before heading to the airport.

Hey dont be so tuff on keestering. Its an excellent way to transport. And fun too.

Enjoy Tivoli. Betcha the ship has an excursion of people hitting Christiania. I sad now.

yea seriously.... Ill grab a taxi.. Actually it looks like my hotel is only a couple miles from christiania so Ill probably walk.

my excursion in st petersburg is costing $950 per person. private car and driver for 2 days. If I booked it through the cruise it would be $1350 per person and is on a tour bus with all the riff-raff.

Seriously though, I think you might find some good hash. That place has been doing more or less continuous biz for decades. Somebody there probably has some old school hash connect. I miss traditional hash a lot. It had terroir.
