chopping top half of the plant?

question about harvest. if i cut the top half of my plant and dry that, will the bottom half of my plant be ok to move up closer to the light for another week so that the lower buds get 1 last week of light?

i was planning on harvesting next week (next sunday) but if i can get away with a 1 week flush and cut the top half off, that'd be good.

when u flush, does the plant take all the water and clear out the top half of the plant 1st or does it feed the bottom 1st?

thanks

you could do the topping but with only a week to go it`s not worth it by the time it comes out of shock.
it will feed where the most roots are. and you cant realy tell till you chop down.
after you finish with the water, let it dry right up in the soil till it realy wilts, and leave as much leaf on for a slong as you can. the slower the dry the better.

no it wont die, it just wont develop much. like when you clone it takes a bit for the stress of being cut to heal before they grow. it wont hurt it just not helping anything realy.
why not just leave the whole plant?
oh and the other guy said he got his light at wicks and another one was b&Q

Well i can just leave the whole of the plants till next sunday which will be 2 weeks flush. i was just thinking, the kolas and buds near the top look alot more developed than ones on the bottom. if i chop the top then i could move the bottom buds closer to the light which i was hoping would fatten them up abit more.

i never thought of wicks, ill have a look at their site. i didnt see any in b&q but then again i wasnt looking for them at the time.

cheers for that, rep for ya
