Chopping into small nugs speeds curing time?

Can I accelerate the curing process by cutting my buds into 1-2g nugs? Seems like it would dry faster with less surface area.

yes it would, but man think of a huge honking bud now imagine cutting it up just so you can smoke it faster sacrilegious if you ask me. patience is your friend and hast makes waste so leave it alone.

More surface area = faster drying.

Example: If you have 1 big nug and you let in dry normally, it can take ~7 days to dry properly.
If you cut that bug up into 6 pieces or 8 pieces depending on size, the smaller parts will dry much quicker.

To answer your question; yes you can speed up the drying time by cutting up your nugs.

Curing is more delicate, since there is no time limit on curing per se (some people cure for years) it's not really possible to 'speed' up curing.
Curing takes the time you give it, and wether it's large nugs or small nugs in a jar, it'll still take the time you give it.
You want to cure as slowly as possible, bringing the RH down from 65% RH to 55% RH (when curing stops) for the best result.
