Chop Chop...Violator Kush

Barney's Farm Violator kush, 17 inches high and every branch is a mini-cola. Smells great, and the sample branch taken last week is already smooth and a one hit wonder! Looking forward to a slow dry and cure to make it even better. I planted a seed right into a 3 gallon pot the first week of may, vegged 7 weeks and flowered 11 weeks all under a 175 watt metal halide with a 45 watt LED for side lighting.. This weed makes you as dumb as a door knob! I think I will grow another strain for daytime.

I have been smoking for 25 years and this is one of the top 5 strongest I have ever smoked. I smoked a joint and got on the computer to play a game and realized about 10 minutes later I hadn't done anything yet. A great end of the day smoke.

Very Nice.. I am a fan of the VK.. I only flowered mine for 8 weeks... under a 600W HPS.. Great job for the lighting used but I don't have the patience for 11 weeks..

Nice job again

Mine below
Great looking buds you have! Eight weeks sucks, 11 sucks a little more but worth it. I almost harvested last week ( I could have) but it erupted again and packed on at least a gram or two a day the last week.

I love weed that makes me dumb as a doorknob. Well, to be honest, and please dont judge me, but I make sexy time to myself at night with thoughts of buds that make me dumb as a doorknob :) :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

The Hindus the base of the genes in the violater

I got two n the fifth week that look totally different than yours and look totally dif. From each other

nice girl ya got there

which is what makes it better IMO. Hindu alone seems to lack that kick, whatever the Violator is crossed with does the job (at least for me). I've only smoked it once, so it could've been a fluke. You never know what phenotype you're smoking. But I have Hindu in the garden, and it's def not my favorite.

That's another thing with the Hindu, it wasn't as dense as I had hoped for. (High Quality Afghani Hindu Kush). I have no experience with any other breeders.

Just read that VK is made up of Kush and Malana (mostly sativa).

I've never heard of malana but
one of my VKs is totally indica and the other
is a little bit more sativa

Malana

North Indian cannabis landrace strain.

Malana is a sativa dominant native Himalayan cannabis variety used to make hand-rubbed charas. This legendary North Indian charas sativa grows on the high sun-drenched ridges of Himachal Pradesh in the environs of the famous village of Malana, in the Malana Nala valley, which is renowned for its top quality hand-rubbed charas. Pungently aromatic flowering tips glisten with trichomes and virtually drip with THC resin. Plants can reach a height of over 3 metres and are vigorous and prolifically productive. First-rub charas is produced from these plants with intense care, and is soft and easily molded by warm hands. Aromas are reminiscent of over-ripe fruit especially mango, with sickly sweet aromas like traditional Indian milk-based confectionery. Consumed in moderation this strain gives a bright, cerebral buzz which is very sociable and giddy; larger quantities produce a highly mind-altering psychedelic effect. When collected with care and diligence this is the Champagne of the cannabis resin market.

Malana specifics:

Cannabis genetics: Malana - native North Indian Himalayan charas strain
Variety: Mostly sativa
Harvest: Late October to mid November at latitude 30 degrees North
Height: Between 2 to 3 metres in a natural outdoor environment
Yield: Between 1 and 2 kilos of dried flowers outdoors
Characteristics: Hardy, vigorous sativa strain with wide-leaved indica characteristics, intensely resinous with sickly sweet aroma.

yo i got some hindu kush budding now... wonder if its comparable to vk?
I have smoked what I am told was Hindu Kush. Both had the distinct kushy fruity great taste but the VK is stronger by far. Maybe I will try a Hindu to do a real side-by-side comparison.
