Thanks guys. Ive had dogs before and still have 5 (3 are at my parents) but never owned one as a puppy. Im sure you get a much stronger bond with a dog youve owned since it was a puppy.
Dopefish those are cool dogs. My ex girlfriend has an australian shepherd that looks similiar. Yeah labs are cool dogs bwinn very loyal and fun, your little guy is really well groomed Ive got a little poodle but cant keep him clean hahaha.

Yeah jack russels can be hyper but they are fun dogs my good friend has a couple of them.

Aristo thanks to my mom im a dog lover big time as well...well any animal. Your definitely right its funny how they have their own personalities that develope with age just like a humans. Like right now its just like having a baby to take care of.

Shes really damn cute, has to nap every half hour because shes non stop running and playing. so far only one turd in the house and no pee...I think she was scared though because I had to take a shower and she was sitting there crying and shaking. She hates the bathroom her first bath was damn funny she was giving little growls and grunting hahaha

Shes good about going outside though at only 8 weeks she will hold it for hours until I let her outside to go piss and shit haha.

"Since time immemorial, flowers, crystals, precious stones, and birds have held special significance for the human spirit. Like all life-forms, they are, of course, temporary manifestations of the underlying one Life, one Consciousness. Their special significance and the reason why humans feel such fascination for and affinity with them, can be attributed to their ethereal quality.

Once there is a certain degree of Presence, of still and alert attention in human beings' perceptions, they can sense the divine life essence, the one indwelling consciousness or spirit in every creature, every life-form, recognize it as one with their own essence and so love it as themselves. Until this happens, however, most humans see only the outer forms, unaware of the inner essence, just as they are unaware of their own essence and identify only with their own physical and psychological form.

In the case of a flower, a crystal, precious stone, or bird, however, even someone with little or no Presence can occasionally sense that there is more there than the mere physical existence of that form, without knowing that this is the reason why he or she is drawn toward it, feels an affinity with it. Because of its ethereal nature, its form obscures the indwelling spirit to a lesser degree than is the case with other life-forms. The exceptions to this are all the new-born life-forms – babies, puppies, kittens, lambs, and so on. They are fragile, delicate, not yet firmly established in materiality. An innocence, a sweetness and beauty that are not of this world still shine through them. They delight even relatively insensitive humans." - Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth

Puppies are the best!!

Here is my most recent puppy.
He was found wandering the roadside, with a large tumor on the side of his jaw.
Evidently his breeder did not want to deal with this imperfect puppy.
My Vet runs a "no kill" animal rescue shelter. He was nice enough to give me first dibs on this little guy
I had his jaw fixed and he is now fine, he is just missing a few teeth on the one side.

I have four St. Bernards.
I love puppies and doggies!

The bigger dog is my previous puppy!

They are awesome dogs! I found a stray saint Bernard but at the time we didnt have a big enough home for the guy and found him a home with someone who had 3 or 4 of them. This was a few years ago.

You are correct as Saints are my favorite breed!
It is too bad that most people simply do not have the room for these big guys....
Labs are a very close second favorite however...I owned a black lab a few years back...tons of fun!

BTW nowstop, if you have not read the book Marley and Me, treat yourself and get ahold of a copy...it is about a demented loveable Lab!!!
It is a great read!!

Great News, congrats! I love Labs. I have 2 myself. And the bonding thing is true. I had one since a pup, the white one Bosco and he is my baby, very well behaved. The black one Chester, was rescued over a year old, that bond took alot longer to form. He had some issues we needed to train out of him, like destroying my bras, underwear, socks, anything he could get. Now he just grabs something and walks around with it without destroying it. It took a year to retrain him. They are buddies and get along great, they are only about 6 months apart in age. I love them soooo much and couldn't imagine life without them, check em out.:peace:
