Chinese/Japanese Classical

I've always been a fan of Japanese culture in particular, but east Asia as a whole has some wonderful instruments, especially within the islands like Okinawa with their own inventions. Biwa, Pipa, Shamisen. Shakuhachi, Koto etc...

I think the Erhu is one of the most heartfelt sounding instruments, it comes from the soul like a human voice. It's like Ireland's Uillean pipes had sex with a hot Asian violin.

i heard this artist about a year ago and tbh was shocked by it. one of the most innovative artist i have heard over last decade it literally brought tears to my eye first time i heard it. it has such a mix of the classical and the modern and he manages to put so much emotion into a lyric less track it juts blew me away
its a long one so smoke one before you start and skin one up for the journey i dont think you'll regret this one

And for China. I've always wanted to hear an asian/celtic fusion or Irish music on chinese/japanese instruments because they have such amazing paralells. It just work. Like i said, Erhu sounds like Irish Uillean to a degree.
