Would be interesting to find the weed originally sourced from colorado. Find the background on that strain.
i have found a holder of the paionia purple paralizer that is rumoured extinct... hoping to trade for nugs this week ... no word about cuts...
chemfather aka joebrand says this is a good place to start looking ... i wanna see if it thows pollen an see what the progeny looks like ... been thru a few chems and the best replaca i have seen is actually white rhino x trainwreck; but that cut was from cali ... wish i know if the p-bud was the right tree to bark up

post edited. had a few post harvest drinks and start spouting off as usual..:)
yea we should hang next time i am in denver ..
the wifi is so low yeilding in my bros garden and so pre 98 bubbaish i never rawked it but i am looking for the better cuts younger gens and closer to the source cuts.

i read about a guy called master control unit that says he got a cut not high in cbd but thru selective cloning he helped it become high in cbd... thoughts garlic as being a clone master?? can you "selective clone??" where do you start?? flowering branches??

Interesting Joedank. I've never heard of one altering genetic makeup of a specific strain to produce more cbd simply through cloning. In fact even with experience cloning 3-4wks into flowering and having success I wouldn't see how it could increase cbd of the clones progeny, but you've absolutely peaked my interest.

Gt..

I'm super interested in the Grand Daddy Kong.
I've spoke of the strain” Kong” many times on here.

The name was simply Kong, no Hong, No king, No GD-kong.

The strain was exclusive to Cannabicare about 3 years ago, she was Indy dom, and frosty as Aspen in January..
Although Indica Dominant, she provided a distinguished happy head high that encourages relaxation of the eyeballs..
20-30 mins after consumption..you, can not stay awake, good luck prying your eyes open..

GT?..
Happen to have any knowledge/how to find or engineer this bad ass strain back in full force?

I cant understand what happened to the strain, as EVERYBODY that was aware of Cannabicare, Kong was the” top seller” every day/week/month, they could not meet the demand, and have up I'm guessing..?

Here's my GranddaddyKong outdoor at wk 5-6, has got the tell tale Granddaddy pheno bud structure.

Here's a GranddaddyPurpleErkle Cross I grew out a few crops back as reference...

I'm familiar with the indica kong but only in terms of being one among a handful of "pure indicas", usually lumped together with an afghani "kush" labeling. It never caught my eye until I grew out a GDK to a full 9.5wks bloom and POW it was love at first sight! I loved my cut of GDP but have 6th gen purple kush (GrapeApe,GrandDaddyPurple,Purple Erkle Lineage) beans from cali with 3 specific phenos so I ditched anything Purple Kush related cut wise.
As for what I'm running currently it's mostly 60/40 hybrids s/i hybrids heavy on the kush. Shit I think the only pure indica I've got is a hindu and it's mother is finishing outside atm. I have a problem with most flower and that is that it's not oil, ha seriously though when I medicate I'll sit and vape 5-6 bowls 4-5 x a day. An I'm constantly switching up my strains. Luckily I just blew some oil out of 100gSFV Kush flowers, it glassed out real nice!IMG_1007.jpg
Happy Dabs!bongsmilie

Garlic, I have never had Chem in any form in my garden (you can say Ive been deprived). How hard would it be to find a cut and if so which cut would you recommend? 18hr time, 12hr time, time it takes to finish/flush. Can you also give me a clue about yield potential?

Here in CO there are a number of different chem cuts floating around the clone dispos and such. I think the CDSS is one of the best yielding and fastest finishers out of the chem fam. The chem sister is also very popular but grows very much like an ISS an we found it reached max finishing potential at wk 9.5...

Someone here mentioned auto-chem crosses but I have no experience with these.

GDK sounds too dank, sounds like awesome plant to grow!
It stretches 2x it's size when flipped into bloom, but yes it is very very yum. A true connoisseur strain!

Hey GT tried to send you a PM but your mailbox is full!
hmmm ok going to delete, otherwise hit me up with a text ;) ok remedied.....

Got my Chem Sis at 9 1/2 weeks right now. She stinks very nice and is putting on the weight very dramatically, with sagging branches even when tied up! Hope to chop in 7-10 days along with my UK and Durgan. With everything on the right half of my tent coming down this month, it will be a very happy Thanksgiving!
