Cheese?

The orginial UK Cheese is also known as the exodus cut and was a rare skunk#1 pheno. The closest thing you can get in seed-form is an S1 for dr greenthumb. They're $200 though. That GreenHouse Cheese is actually a cross of Buddha's cut and an afghan kush. Check out GHS's description of the genetics. It's "original cheese X kush". There's no relation to the exodus cut. I'm not bashing it though. I actually grow it myself and like it a lot. Original exodus cheese is super skunky and dieselly. GHS cheese is like actual cheddar cheese but still very strong-smelling. Yields well too.

I definitely don't see why you wouldn't be abke to get seeds from a cutting if you light stressed it.

I have always heard that seeds from a plant that is genetically prone to hermie, like Dutch Passion Blueberry, the seeds will just produce more hermies.

BUT

If a plant from a strain that is not genetically prone to hermie is PHYSICALLY stressed into being a hermie, it doesnt change the genetics of that plant. It is just a physical reaction to being fucked with. Therefore the seeds might be worth trying.

I haven't tried it yet so I cant say how sound that theory is. Sounds right though.

I am trying to find the right Cheese strain I have tried before. It can't be this infamous UK one, it smells kind of like fruit loops when it is growing. Tastes so good, cheesy of course with a fruity taste. Anyone know if this is the GH seeds brand?

big buddha from the attitude has the best cheese . there the originator.
this is false. he was just the first one to release something called cheese in seed form. there were many other breeders trying to lock down traits. big budda was one of the last to get the exodus cut.

A lot of the information here is incorrect.
you can get feminized cheese "and only feminized"
because people have cloned it, stressed it to hermie and created seed.
And its as authentic as the original.

Most of the seeds available ARE crosses yes. but fem cheese is out there, rare and expensive.

cheese is believed to have been a wild crossing, "which is why it has not been duplicated"
Buddah got a clone, and worked with it.
Technically hes not the original.
but for all intents and purposes, he is, as he stabalized it and did something with it.
HES the reason you even know of cheese. remember that.

ive been growing ghs cheese for a year now. its good flavor. Out of 5 seeds i had 3 totally different plants. one barely stretched in flowering and the leaves were sativa-ish looking, one was the same but indica looking leaves, and the third was tall stretchy and had hardly any bud on it at all. all turned out the same product wise. smell and flavor are good. Also buds were dense, but again yield wasnt amazing.

Get some nice cheese clones people. f**k seeds. You will not be disappointed.
All we smoke in london. !FIRE FIRE FIRE!
This is the problem.
No one wants to share clones and seeds are widey avaiabe.
I understand the risks but people need to share or the cheese as clone will die out.

Ive not tried any seed of cheese yet.
Closest thing Ive seen from seed is also what shifty has posted kaliman but not them pictures there, the last looks like the pheno I had but the bud was whiter.

There pictures on attitude are of the cheese but wever this is what you will get when grown from seed is yet to be seen and I cant wait to see the grow from shifty.

Im doing 4 of green house exodus (not there haze x) there exodus cheese and I will put pictures with shiftys as we may just be growing at the same time by the looks of his last post.

I really cant wait to see some growers reports on the kaliman cheese, from my understanding its not that the exodus cheese cant do seeds it the time and effort to get a stable seed thats the probem.

What gets me is the myth about the cheese,It didnt drop out the sky you know and if the exodus cheese come from skunk #1 then surely if you planted 20 skunk#1s you would get 1 pheno exactly the same as the exodus cheese, after all it did come from a bag of sensi seeds skunk #1 pheno type or did aliens from another planet come plant it?.

Think ive researched and wasted a bit to much time on the cheese seeds and Im betting that there is seeds with same pheno with same tastes, the sativa looking skunk #1 is exactly the same as the cheese I know from pictures,Ive bought some to grow and will report..
The cheese I had looks like many in the journals,I will post piccys when I get a wire for my phone.

Sativa looking,Mine always greew 4-5ft hydro with white buds every where 4-5 colas,no particular main bud, very bushy but saying that Ive seen people soil grow cuts from me and they grew single colas and bigger leaves, seems it grows different in different enviroments. They also got smaler yield were I get big ish ones 10-13 oz is the norm dry.

This has always been a cash cropper for me and some thing every one wants, name what ever you want by me and people compare it to the cheese.
I my self find it a mellow buzz body and head but gets me extremely para.

Im happy to try different cheese as Im growing for personnel use now but I want the pheno I use to have back as its what I know and every one loves, gives me great yields, good grow rate and easy to work with, handles stress very well and dont die easy.
I can confirm that buddas cheese is nothing like the cheese,be it pheno/size or look, may be tastes a little like it with same sort of buzz and thats about it.
I will be doing a few grows on cheese till I either get the pheno I want or a clone from what I see on the forums, the pheno I had is around still and grown exactly how I grow it,big and bushy, not to say the smaller ones have not come from it though!!

I guess I might be smoking quite a few different straines in between ;-)

Not mine but this is very similar

Do people actually share clones so easily? I've lived in London for years and not encountered Cheese (or any other...) clones, but then I guess it's certain circles?
