ur plant should be fine, just so long as u have some better soil that MG, that shit is horrible to use. also the plant will be fine, just so long as it wasnt like 2/3rds of the roots that were taken off, they will be in shock for a bit, but after that will thrive.

yo b00 chillax man theres like a tiny amount of roots there lol your worrying too much the plants a weed it will bounce back. as for repotting you should aim for about 3 repots once from like a dixie cup size into about 1 gallon pot then to about 3 gallon or bigger if you want monsters, the idea being that the plant gradually builds its rootball to fill the space, if you start off with a huge pot the plant will fill the rootspace quickly and run the risk of getting potbound n locking the nutes out.

aim to upscale your pot when theres a good amount of white roots poking out the holes of your pot, by this point there should be a good solid ball of root which will make it easier when you tip the pot upside down!

Dam its been a shit day, after relizing that my soil was shit and my pot was too small and that my plant became root bound i decided to get better soil and bigger pot well in the transplanting process a chunk of soil came off and took some roots with it http://i44.tinypic.com/10o4npg.jpg, so now im hoping it survies, lessons have been learned though, start with good soil and a big pot no need to transplant!

wrong man you need to transplant so you can build the root system. if you throw a lil plant in a big pot it might shocc it and the roots will grow funny. you want to have pots that are more tall so the roots grow down not to the sides. u can go to a hydro store and picc up all the pots and saucers you will need for the plants whole life cycle for under $10.

I suggest looking into some fox farm soil. Its the absolute best on the market hands down. And I would look into more lighting. The pic I uploaded is my hash plant 10 minutes ago. Its on day 21. This is what size I think your looking for. I'm using a 400 watt Metal Halide. Only 150 bucks for a light like this..

I am, but what im goin to do is wait for my next grow, this is a 'training' plant,, Im gonna look around for a decent/cheap setup, ill probs be looking for a 150watt hps setup, But yer the plant seems to have taken off, After fixing all the problems... nute burn (flushed it), root bound (got a bigger pot), bad soil (got better soil), 1 cfl ( added another 2 ((3 in total)), roots breaking (let nature take its course), Lol so as you can tell 1st time grow and ive faced a fair few problems and this is only the start lol so for my next grow i shall be more prepared, thanks for the comments, i think you deserve a plus rep u been helping me out a bit cheers
