I don't plan on doing a continuous journal, but I want to share some pics of my grow room. I've spent about 3.5K total on everything. My cloner and veg unit are both aeroponic setups and the flowering units are a hybrid aero/NFT. The vegging plants are 5 weeks old and the flowering ladies are on their 5th week of flowering. I currently have 2 strains, DP Blue Moonshine and Nirvana's Ice, although I received new seeds/strains from attitude just today (yeah baby!)!

Thanks guys. And yep I sure did. Instead of exhausting out the window I bought that big carbon filter and fan on top of it yesterday and routed air up the attic again via the Y adapter duct. No smell in house, works great. My room is pretty much done except for another oscillating fan, maybe two.

Should focus on a sog style...for the other side....or at least try to get your canopy the same level to max use of your light....still looks great though bro! Good Job !

Thanks man. This is actually my 3rd grow ever so I'm still learning alot. My first two grows were done in a 2x3x6 cabinet (https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/155110-check-out-my-grow-cabinet.html) which was more sog style and I didn't even know that the canopy could be an problem. And all those tall plants you see is actually just one huge plant, it got out of control big and I just thought it was fucking awesome because I had a whole room this time around instead of a pussy ass cabinet but little did I know. It's a light-blocking plant bully.

It's very crowded and no light gets down there. No buds are forming down there either. I never really thought about it because I thought I read somewhere that plant's use decaying leaves for something (can't remember what, phosphorus maybe?) so I never pull a leaf off unless it is completely dead and dry. I figure they'll get clipped at harvest if anything. Is there a downside to keeping them?

Can you get me a closeup of the bottom growth clear if anything....and i will see too! But it would help with air flow to the rest of the plant and buds and some lower budsite issues.

It's true the plant does use up some of the leaves that don't make it, but you gotta watch out for cleanliness. No bugs/mold is worth leaving some useless decaying leaves on. On the other hand some people swear that "lollipopping" is the way to go regardless if your scrog or not as the plant can focus primarily on the exsisting healthy top growth instead of perpetuating lower areas you won't be utilizing anywayz.

But like everything to each his own and what works for one may be the downfall of another!

+rep for a schweet set-up bro!!

The attached is the best I could get. Plus these are from my phone as I do not have a working camera.

Whoops, that first one wasn't supposed to be included lol.
I would clean up the bottoms a bit( nothing going on down there anyways!) just to get some good air flow and less crowding of lower budsites. This would help the top too good air flow around your girls def help...and less chance of mold or budrot. I mean you can leave(lol) them on, but as they are so crowded IMO I think this would help in you setup. But it is totaly up to you.

You guys are right, the decaying leaves can't be that good to outweigh all those cons. I'm going to clean them up.
