a clone will start to flower faster since it's more mature, but it takes the same amount of flowering time as the mother did

More mature. How so?
i just mean a three-week old from seedling put to flower will take longer to start flowering than a three-week old clone (from being rooted and from a mature plant) would--if that particular pheno takes eight weeks to finish flower (once she starts that process), then the mother and her clones would all take approximately the same eight weeks to flower.

So I'm fucking pissed!!! I just found balls on the 2 taller clones. I cut them off for now but will now be keeping a very vigilant eye open for any more. Hopefully it will not blow up into a huge problem?

i wouldn't worry about it; one of my favorite phenos of my head stash that i grow threw a few early in flower and i plucked them off and let her grow. awesome smoke! :weed: i'm even taking a chance with the few beans i got from her and have one S1 vegging right now. i hope it's just like the mom. bongsmilie

I like it when people don't freak out too much when they see balls, I think a lot of strains are still good if you can keep the hermi tendency in check not to pollenate your whole room.

To the OP:

The tall one, would that be lollipopping that you did? If not, excuse my ignorance. I am fairly new to growing and I have been using fimming/LST methods in my grow. Your stuff looks fantastic!

Hey Syd, actually she did that on her own. I started her in a bubbler bucket(having no hydro experience whatsoever). She stayed alive but didn't grow at all for almost 2 weeks, so I put her in soil. She immediately took off and also began flowering(I'm guessing out of stress).

She looks great! Interesting, can anyone explain why she grew like this? Is this due to the strain or stress? It looks very trained to me but what do I know ;).

Not having full background on the phenotype, I would say it's a characterization of the plant. Some plants when you LST come out in a beautiful canopy. Some take on shapes all of their own.

Once you've grown them 2 or 3 times you can manipulate the plants shape and growth without fear of stressing them to the point of herming. It's all about knowing your plant and how it reacts.

More pics will be up today, but we need a bigger following. I want feedback, input, ideas, anything! If you see something I could do better on the next round, Say it.

I love how your scrog came out. I didn't do so well with my first one but I'm riding it out and gonna make the best of it. When did you top the plant for the first time?
