Whats the best way to check the PH of my water? Would it be best to buy a ton of litmus paper or something else? Maybe a drip solution? PH Water testers (electronic) are too effin expensive.

On ebay they aren't that expensive. $20...

I just use the GH liquid kit. It was $14 retail at the grow shop and has lasted over a year with my small grow and looks like it'll go another.

Im using one of those little 6$ dye/tube atm, its working pretty well. However lighting, and backround can fuck up the colour, and you never really know exactly where your at. I've been told an accurate PH metor is vittle for hydro so I'm gonna spend the 60 bucks and get a digitle one asap.

Im also using the dye/tube. Kind of a pain when you have multiple reservoirs. You have to check them, adjust them, check them again...... Im going to invest in a digital apparatus. Ebay def. has the cheapest name brand testers. I did find one other at an aquarium web site

Get liquid ph tester... better be in the good range than nothing... or just get to your local hydro shop to test it for you...
