Cheap LED

Hi,

what do you think about using a cheap 200w work light LED for veg?

Should work ok to veg, Wouldn't want it in a tent tho unless I could get temps while it's in operation for 12+ hours at a time.

What's the coverage of the light?

I think it would be fine for veg... how much do you plan on vegging? I didnt see any product dimensions so i just am wondering how big the space is and how many plants you fit underneath, it will matter depending on these variables.

The space is Aprox 1.6 x 1

i am not sure how many plants... i just pope some in there

As long as it's for just veg, should be more then fine in an area that small. Unless we are talking meters and not feet.

So the tent is basically a 3ftx5ft tent. Sorry different country so metrics needed to be ....anyways, that light will get you started but after a couple weeks when the plants get bigger, it's not going to be enough for a space of that size. At least not just 1.

or just a bigger light....

Yeah.. but the price is realy good In a local shop.. if i get any on ebay i have to pay tax and shipping.. so add 30% at least on pretty mutch everything

do you know any that is more cost efficient?

Would depend on where you are in the world...sometimes spending a little extra is better.

Use 3 to veg then in that space... should be sufficient... might be able to get away with 2 if you get the lights oriented so you have decent crossover for veg but again like redeyed said depends on how many plants you plan to veg and how big?
