Hello there fellow growers!
This is my third grow in total and my first serious grow in which I am equipped with some fine tools and devices! I'm very excited about it and I'm hoping to have a great time with the people in rollitup.org. I plan on keeping frequent updates and doing an experiment oriented towards the UVB light spectrum theory, granted my equipment is as well limited to that.
Summary:
1. Cannabis strains - I'm going to go with three different strains. 1st is a crossbreed between Blueberry, Lemon Haze and Skunk 1 - I did the crossing, so far I'm liking the mix a lot! 2nd will be Sour Diesel - I'm not sure but this phenotype I got is dank on about 50 - 55 day of flowering and grows super large, great Sativa, one of my favorites! 3rd I'm gonna experiment a bit here by using seeds I found in commercial dope, they were found in a very heavy Indica, so I'm guessing they'll go by Indica phenotype, but over all I don't know anything about them.
2. Soil - It's nothing special, taken from the backyard of friend's. His ladies also use the same soil and grow great, so I'm guessing it is a good one, after all.
3. Lights - For vegetation I'm using a 400W MH light, 32 000 Lumens, 4000K. For flowering I'm going to add 2 x 27W CLFs 6500K and eventually an additional UV light source, eventually.
4. Food - I'm using the casual nutrients from the flowers shop nearby and sheep shit as a part of further experimentation. A delicate balance between both should provide a healthy plants. That my friend's doesn't do.
5. The plan - Cheap, experimental grow pushing the limits of everything I can! I'm going currently with 10 plants, considering I don't use feminized seeds I am prepared for intruders among the ladies! Vegetation of about 20 days or until 25 centimeters height is reached. Afterwards I will be crossing them to get some seeds, but as well I won't let all of them get pollinated and destroy a great harvest. I'm taking into consideration LST-ing the plants ... But I will need additional input and thought on it. What I want is to not damage the plant growth, but try to keep them Sativa genetics not as high so I can increase yield.

I do believe this is not just a theory, and I'm going to prove it for myself and others who would believe it, or well try. I'm however opened to further discussions on this topic throughout the grow, I do find it hell-a interesting!
Problems section:
[Lights problem] *SOLVED* - Excessive humming, heating. As the lamp is an old used one, and is actually a gift by my friend's it needed some technical repairing, but everything is good to go now.
[Plants problem] - One of the plants is showing some signs of deformation. The leaves slow growth and in the end when fully grown stay as they are cut, basically missing half of the leaf, etc. I'll post pictures soon!
Update (day 12 - 03.08.2014) - Seems like this is no longer, and leaves are all good now, 5 sharpened razors spread just now even!

All plants are enjoying the 400W MH, and let us see how they are doing!
In these pictures there's 3 BxLHxS1, one died ... on the 8th day, unfortunately.

I'm going to assemble a grow tent with reflecting material all over the insides, add proper ventilation, but that'll take a couple of days, I figured, why waste time when I can simply put them there!
We are also going to acknowledge every individual plant in the further posts, but as said above there is yet some stuff I have yet to prepare for the circle of witches!
