CHEAP Easy to Make 1-Hitter Gravity Bong!!!

So I know most everyone here knows how to make a smoking device of some sort, but when I was younger (espicially in middle school) I was un-able to buy a pipe, and didn't even think about rolling. Anyway, I knew I needed to make something that I could use over and over, but that was also easy to dis-assemble....just in case my parents were to find it. (and yes, my mom went through my room all the time! ) Anyway, I've used this type of bowl pretty much my whole life Lol. I have made several percolater bongs and regular bongs with them as well. Enough about me. Here's what you need.'

Coax Cable Head ($2 at walmart for 2 pack)
Any Plastic Bottle (with lid)
Any Cup that the bottle can fit in.
Knife
Water

I have always done the same thing myself...started with that little portable bottle like you back in high school...now that I own my own place I have a bigger one...I tend to build a new one every year or so as it just takes a liquor bottle and a Hawaiian Punch or Large Gatorade bottle..in this case, an empty Long Island Iced Tea bottle inside a large Hawaiian Punch jug....







Makes for a massive rip...but one hit and you are good for a while... I personally use metal sockets from a socket wrench set...smallest one that lets me put in a super small pinch and burn it really slow....building up the chamber...put a bunch of ice in the jug and its the best!

When I was young we used 2-liter Mt Dew bottles and odd sized sockets from our tool sets that we never used for anything else. In a 5 gallon bucket none the less.

I remember doing that quite alot in my youth, we called it a 'waterfall'

Dont have pics unfortunately but back in college we used a 5-gal water jug (like the culligan jugs) cut off the bottom, created a top out of foil and a 1-inch socket, used a 10-gallon bucket (normally used as the ice bucket for kegs) as the bottom, and would pack "Party" GBs....you just pack the socket, burn it up and fill the chamber and usually 4-5 people could take a massive rip before it runs out.

its a shame I dont hang out with as many smokers or id do another one just to document.

We did this in high school. They get you sooo high. 3 liter soda bottle with a 1/2 inch socket in the cap. We used an Utz cheeseball container for the base cuz it was the perfect size and had the perfect amount of water for the pull. I dropped gravs for 5 years straight until I finally stopped. I got sick of the fact that only a grav would get me high. Joints and bowls was unsatisfying. Smoking 15 gravs a day is hard on the lungs too lol

I take one every now and then for the memory, cough my balls off no doubt lol

Bringing back memories. We used a spark plug socket in the big 5 gallon... I hated that thing lol the end was so stale and chalky it makes me quiver just thinking about it lol

we did the same thing. except for two liters and 5 gallon buckets..people use to throw up from coughing so much.theyre fun.

Reminds me of high school too. Big water cooler absopure bottle in a laundry tub packed with northern lights. Took 5 of us to clear it and we got too ripped to ever do it again. Also was pretty expensive on a High school budget, that shit burned quick.

Those one hitters will do you in real quick!!! Nice thread Psy, hopefully a lot of smokers will post their Gravity Bongs here. I like seeing what others are using!

That's how I used to do.

nice, ive never seen a one hitter bucket before, kewl idea. we used to use a 2 litre cola bottle with the bottom cut off and the neck of a beer bottle for the pipe. and for the water, u absolutely HAVE to do it under a pool cover. make an air bubble large enuff to do the thing safely and comfortably, then after you take your hit you sit on the bottom of the pool and hold it in as long as you can. not only do you get the awesome sight of the smoke filled bubbles, but when you come up for air you're straight into a hotbox (for all the obvious reasons this is not a one person thing. tho if you've got a pool AND some weed im sure you have plenty mates lol)

I do remember waaaay back when my mom didn't know I smoked, I used an apple bowl. After me and my buddy finished smoking he told me to toss it out. Too bad I thought it smelled so good that I wrapped it in a towel and put it in the corner of my room lmfao. A few hours later I hear my mom yelling about an apple all excited because she thinks a worm ate a hole through the center perfectly hahaha! That's some cartoon shit right there..

Then I came clean and everything was great from then on regarding my favorite plant

The smaller the bottle you use the better. People that use one gallon or 5 gallon jugs are wasting space. The more smoke you get into a small bottle the more you can ingest.

Back in the day back in high school me and some buddies got this idea and we went out and bought one of those 50 gallon grey trash barrels that u see everywhere and whe took it and cut a hole in the bootom and used the bowl from my brother's hookah(u know those big ass porcelain one that u can fit a 1/4 in) and took it out to my pool one night and used the trash can and the pool as a gravity bong. It took two people to lift it and one to light it. Once we got the rip pulled the person who lit it swam under and came up in the barrel to a cloud of smoke. Wasted a lot of weed but was the best experience ever. I def recommend everyone to try it at least once.

I recall using metal pipe pieces like a big chamber piece with like 4-5 segments to keep the bowl away from the plastic cap....

I'll never forget that first time the gravity bong bowl melted that plastic cap
