Cheap 400W HPS's Way Cheaper then HTGsupply for a Superior Product

Im not to worried about having the best set up at this time i just dont wanna have to pay for my weed smoke habbit anymore.. when i get my own place im going all out but for now im just keep it small and cheap.

I looked at homdepos ballast they want way over 100 bucks for a 150 watts

yeah, I wouldn't bother with that, they tend not to have the right equipment, those are security lights.

I ended up getting this unit from Amazon (both MH+HPS bulbs, timer and yo-yo's). UL listed ballast and the hood is top notch, Though I did consider the op's link beforehand this suited my needs far better.

As for HTG I have dealt with them on many occasions, very nice folks with superior cust service.

The yo yo hangers are actually pretty good, they work nicely!! Good light setup I'm happy

I'm using a 600W lamp with both HPS and MH converstion. I didn't know about the yoyos. I found this, a cheap bicycle hoist. Works great.

I will remind everyone, my grow was raided, but my plants were GORGEOUS before that happened.
And the light worked beautifully. With a 5$ mini fan on top of the ballast, it never got hot to the touch, and the light worked brilliantly.
If they still are in stock, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

i s I have an unfair advantage being how charlotte htg is right up the road. no shipping equals cheaper than most things you can find via internet. also really good in store deals too.

Yeah, i've been to a ton of hydro shops in town, and everything there is insanely overpriced. They truly aren't for the experienced grower, and their only perk is not having the equipment shipped to your house.
