Who does live resin runs? Or as Jamaicans call it Charris.?

Definitely best tasting rosin I've had.

Making with ISO, but do Not have a vacuum chamber, I just pop it in the oven...

Any secrets to getting pure blonde rosin?

I freeze everything then dump in a potato ricer with coffee filter, into Pyrex on fondue plate. Then I let evaporate and swish the solvent around to not let the dry areas burn up...

I try to leave Just a tiny bit of solvent to help collect it all. Then on wax paper in gas oven at like 200 monitoring and opening every few minutes until it bubbles up like crazy and falls down.

I usually get a nice clean Amber color. Any advice or suggestions?

Charris is definitely the Best in my opinion and I can get real nice room temperature shatter, but even that still has a chemical taste...

First off google charas cause thats not it. Secondly rosin is made without solvent. What you are making is qwiso. I would search some threads here as there are some much better techs to help you out. Maybe qwisoking will chime in here and help you out more

Well daggit I thought I was spelling that right.

But yes I know they harvest with their hands and over a hundred years ago they used to run through the fields with a leather jacket and collect it that way. But it Is Charras. Because it is Fresh Live plant and Not dried cured bud.

And how is rosin different? Rosin is just the Specific name--way before all the new shatter wax names came out--for a Hard Pitch/Resin. Usually made from Pine, the Longleaf Pine being the best!

So yes my method of producing the Charas Rosin is Qwiso it does Not mean it is not

No charas is hand rubbed off live plant. Rosin is using heat and pressure to create oil without any solvent being used. The term live resin is used for a product made grom freshly harvested material frozen immediately and no more then 72hours from harvest to oil.
As for your qwiso tech there is no need to put in the oven. Let it air dry with a fan blowing over it. Scrape up. It will be a powder consistency. To make shatter consistency just warm it up til it starts to liquify then let cool to room temp.

But... I Hate the powder. So you are saying the goop won't need to be purged...?!?

But I've heard it has the best taste. The taste is definitely the best I can find better than some bho room temperature shatter...! But I Definitely need to purge.! In going to build a chamber tomorrow...

Any suggestions?!

oh and I tried to heat the powder up and it did Not work I hate that stuff.! I had to Add some extra ISO to the dried powder to make it oily... And it became dookey brown because of it.

Any way to purge clean without vacuum? Definitely buying a chamber soon but it's going to be a few weeks until I can dish out $200+!

Maybe scrape up the wet goo and place it in a pile on parchment back on Pyrex, But instead of going in oven put it Back on the warming plate? Would it bubble and purge then too?!

Haha I know me and @lio lacidem debated this. Semantics in my opinion. They Used to collect Charas with a leather jacket while running through fields... From Mr. Grey Wolf at skunkpharm "Men clothed in leather run through the hemp fields, brushing forcibly against the plants, and thus separating the resin, which is subsequently scraped from their dress, and formed into balls. But Charris, Charas, is Merely a Live Resin. It does Not have to be collected by hand... The reason for this is because First they don't really make leather suits like that anymore Real Leather, And their hands are Free, And so the plant can Continue to grow and Produce Even More resin. It is merely Insustrious to do it with your hands or leather... But it does Not mean that a Live Resin run is Not Charris. Because it most Definitely is.

When they collect the resin off their hands after harvesting and processing Dry material do you think they call those balls Charas?! Hell No! Because that is Dried Cured Resin and Not Fresh Live Resin.

Hahaha!!!! Hey! It is around here! Now I would like to try some Professional's extract, but like I said that room temperature shatter which is definitely the best I have had, Still had a slight butane taste...

No granted I Only got this Qwiso to taste real Clean and Good Once! And for some reason I can Not recreate it.
First is good second is shit!

No offense. But that looks like garbage. The funny thing about bho and iso. You can tell quality and cleanliness almost by color. That's shit is dark ass Taneytown soup.

FYI you shouldn't ever smoke any solvent extract without getting it tested first. You want the contaminant test to come back at 0 ppm's so you don't kill your self giving yourself either pulmonary fibrosis, small cell or large cell carcinoma. If you can taste bho. You are definitely inhaling the other chems in there like benzene, propane propellants, hydrocarbon propellants, propane, cyclopropane dimethylmethane, freon, propylhydride, trimethylene, methylpropane, petroleum.

Here is what clean bho looks like

That is absolutely gorgeous brother holy shit!

We'll see the sad thing is the butane ridden oil and wax around here is made out west and shipped! And these boys sell it like crazy!

I would disagree though because think of All the Butane we inhale and Have inhaled when smoking!!! I know it's probably been Pounds worth.!

Haha and no offense taken, criticism betters others. But you think the first run is ugly brown I Swear to you around here that is The Cleanest Clearest extract you can find.! Like those kids sell Oil as dark as the black shit in my second picture and taste butane ridden while mine at least taste a little clean, for $50g!!! While my good buddy will let go the bho shatter that is a Dark Amber for 45! I laugh at those kids... Who are my age... But honestly This is the Lightest stuff you can find... Well can't upload a clearer picture but you get the point

Damn are you doing some runs right now?! Is that an oven you built yourself?

How do you run your butane? 1"pipe? A friend of mine did his in a mason jar? Is this acceptable? What kind of butane? Should I look into a local source of butane?

What do you think of ice hash?

I didn't make that bho. My buddy did. He distills butane. Blasts through a closed loop system with chillers. Vacuum purges in vacuum ovens for days. He uses high end lab grade butane that he gets by the gallon.


I personally make ice water hash / bubble hash / ice wax and rosin and do dry sift.

He's trying to get me to head up the organic dept. Of his new company.
