Changing lite cycle @ end of flowering?

Anyone ever add an hour or two to the lite cycle for say the last ten days of flowering? Like going from a 12/12 to maybe 13/11 or 14/10

plants dont like interruptions! they need their beauty sleep.

Personally, I havent heard that but, I do know that leaving the lights out for the last 3 days will result in a gain of resin glands.....

1. Temperature drops making the plant think that it is dying so it pushes more resin glands to protect itself..... tried it..... works

def on the temps. it is said that because of the higher altitudes and colder temps at NIGHT, resin gland develops alot better (Himalayas). leaving the lights off is one thing but irregulating the photoperiod during flower (at any point), could result in herms. so i never wanted to try. but i do leave the lights off with cold temps for 24h @55 F ventilation and fans on right before harvest.
