I obtained an ounce of this "Champagne Widow" from CTC in Colorado Springs. This is some most visually appealing bud I've ever seen and it has a truly amazing smell too. I searched the internet and I couldn't find any information about it, im sure its just local to Colorado Springs. I managed to find a seed in the ounce that i got so i decided to grow it, im three and half weeks in and she just showed sex yesterday (female). My question is has anyone else here had "Champagne Widow"? Does anyone know anything about this strain or possibly know the person that bred it?

Even though I'm out in Northern Cali, I've heard the name Champagne Widow before.
It's obviously a White Widow cross, although I'm not sure with what.
I want to say OG Kush or something of that nature.
What kind of effect do you get off of it?
That might help identify the other parent.

High as shit is the main effect I get from it. I can see why its called champagne widow because I dont know how else you would describe the flavor and smell. Its a little more heady and energetic than most, definitely not a downer but its not crack either.

Yeah actually my warehouse is growing Champagne Widow we are about 6 or so weeks away from finished product. I will be posting pics for example. Ours is a F1 mother from a buddy of ours. As far as i know, its from a private breeder that sells clones only to a select few dispensaries here in town. Ours however does have a much lighter, denser appearance than yours, but we also grow hydro. More in the weeks to come! Feel free to ask questions, i am knowledgeable about the local cannabis scene. THX AND HAPPY TOKING

Sweet! One of my favorite dispensaries. I live too far away to go there now though. The plant stays short and has a pretty heavy yield from what I recall. I know a couple of guys who grew it and both loved it. I am unsure of the lineage. Sorry. Try the Sour D from CTC! Cool to see some locals.
