I'm 99.999% sure that Cha Ching is NOT organic for starters. However it will work fine in soil mixes but I can't get into details as it wasn't my grow that I'm referring to.... A buddy of mine used the whole fox farms line up including cha ching, beastie blooms and whatever the 3rd one is and had great results across a few strains. But I know he flushed his soil regularly. If this helps any..

That is my concern exactly; I do not want to screw up the soil by killing everything.

9-50-10???? And they say no salt buildup??? I call shenanigans....

I wouldn't let that near my organic grow.

I have used ch Ching many times. It does seem to add some sticky to it, but don't use full dose. I use about 1/2 of what it says on tha schedule. it will burn tha ladies if your to generous.

After i switched to the supersoil and full organics i have a full thing of the cha ching, open sesame, and beasty bloomz i wont let them anywere near my grow. The only Fox farm nutrients that is organic is the Big Bloom and its the only thing i will use and usually i dont have to the super soil has all the plant needs. Neither the Grow Big or the Tiger Bloom is organic. I used them in my first couple grows thinkin they were organic i was wrong. Dont get me wrong they work but there not organic and adding the nutes too your soil can kill or harm the beneficial mykos in the soil.

I agree I will just stick with my teas.

A few seasons back I had the idea of making teas to mimic the ratios of cha-ching, beastie and open seseme. This way, you'd get the benefits of proper nute ratios at the right time while still keeping it organic, not to mention cheap...

Below are the names of each product followed by lists of ingredients that I was thinking about using, below the ingredients is the NPK ratio of the actual Fox Farm products. I never perfected this or anything it's just a basis to start working from. The amounts of ingredients listed is based on making 5 gal of tea.

Open Sesame:
6 oz - Indonesian bat guano
4 oz – Kelp meal
4 oz – Bulb food granular
1 Splash – Big Bloom
1 tsp. – Black strap molasses
10.5 – 52.3 – 26.3
OR
8 oz. Indonesian bat guano
2 tsp. Molasses
6 oz. Green sand
4 oz. Worm casting
6 – 48 – 19.8

Beastie Bloomz:
6 oz. Fish bone meal
22 oz. green sand
0 – 54 – 33

Cha Ching:
Never got to this.... Total stoner moment considering the whole point of thread is Cha Ching... mega fail.

^Trust me, the NPK ratios of these 'bud hardener' products are not in any way proper... especially not for organics.

Basically, they are designed with the assumption that only a small proportion of the total phosphorous applied is going to make it into the rhizosphere and be absorbed by the roots.

The phosphate ion is an anion, it has a negative (-) charge. Soils and organic soil-less potting mixes contain materials like humus (and clay), and to a lesser extent sphagnum and coco coir, which possess negatively charged 'sites' capable of loosely holding onto cations (+ charged ions) such as potassium (K+), one form of available N (ammonium NH4+), calcium and magnesium. This is known as cation exchange capacity, and while the cations are attracted to and adsorbed at these sites, anions like phosphate are repelled into the soil solution where they more easily leech away. There are also materials that would have positively charged 'sites' capable of adsorbing anions in the same manner to a lesser extent.

However, the phosphate anion is highly reactive and will easily form complexes with other components of the soil, thus making it unavailable to plants directly but still technically present. In living soil you have microbes (and fungi like mycorrhiza, especially) constantly seeking out compounds in the soil they can convert to plant available forms, directly in the rhizosphere. Mycorrhizal fungi don't do well with excessive amounts of phosphorous in the soil, they like to seek out and break off phosphate groups to bring back to the plant.

Even from a Hydro Growers perspective , Cha Ching is pure bullshit according to there schedule .. Why the hell would an experienced grower add 9-50-10 to ripen up buds ? Seems a little excessive in Nitrogen considering most people like a fade in the end and want to avoid excess nutrient at this point ..

Besides Fox Farms is now owned by the Evil Monsanto .. If you care at all about mother Earth than boycott Fox Farms and all of there bullshit , even the beloved by many Big Bloom will become tainted if it is not already ...

I don't use Fox Farms products if I can avoid it (those days came and went), but I gotta clear up some misinformation. Fox Farms is NOT owned by Monsanto. That was a rumor that snowballed somehow.

EDIT: You are right, though... Monsanto is fucking evil. I bet they are looking real hard for a way to stick their grubby fingers into the herb farming industry.

Looks like I will use up my FF trio and end it at that... paid to much not to use them.. just have to flush flush flush. I hate when the hydro guy say's yeah, they are real good and I have also read others loving it.. hence why I got it (first and only time) oh well. Just have to use them out and get the tea's up and running.

Their soils are great, Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, Light-Warrior all of them are just fine but I wouldn't use any other Fox Farm product, except maybe the dry Peace of Mind organics but there are alternatives to those.
