CFLs Week 2/3 (2 - 22" 6500k and 8500k light bulbs)

That's re-assuring. :-) Thanks.

I'm sitting here paranoid as hell, wanting to go check but refusing to get up at midnight. It's getting cold outside, and I think I might've left the window cracked, plus the lights are off. I don't want them to get too cold in there tonight. :(

How cold is it outside? Don't let them freeze. I run my lights on at night to help with keeping the grow heated. During the day (dark time for plants) I have a space heater to keep the temps from swinging too much between lights on and lights off.

No need to transition them to 18-6, they figure it out :-)

I run lights on at night for the same reason, but mine seem to like the 75-78 I keep them at with lights on, and the 60-65 during the day.

Shit, I'm sure it got to down to about 30 Fahrenheit last night. sucks because I just decided not to go over anyway. I'm sure the window was closed, will be checking on them in a few hours anyway. Hope they're all okay. Got a new light fixture for them too, I'm excited haha.

I'm thinking of going scrog pretty soon too. This should be fun.

Update time.

This is a picture of the set-up now. 8 t5 6500k 48" Cfls on 24 plants.

They seem to be doing alright now, right?

Thought this one looked a little funny. Figured I'd let it grow out all the way and just harvest it, call it Retard Weed. :p

Ya, do some reading first, and decide which you want to do, but think of your space limitations too.
Height if you lollipop, and sq. footage if you scrog.

Ugh. I'm reading and reading and reading, but I just don't know. people run scrogs with less plants, so I wouldn't know how to Scrog maybe 15 plants. I don't think I can scrog if I'm vegging with CFLs.

But hey, I'll figure it out. I think I might end up lollipopping anyway. Feels more efficient.

I keep taking pictures of these things, I'm proud.

Hell yeah man those plants look fantastic!

Half of my stems are looking weak. :( I don't understand.. Yesterday I used more water to feed them. Like half a gallon of water total for all 24 plants. Hopefully that helps. I sort of put a little more superthrive than I was supposed to in there but don't see that hurting them.

If you can get an ambient breeze blowing on them their stems will strengthen. It simulates wind in nature and the plant will think that it needs to strengthen its stem in order to not fall over.
