i was thinking to make a good DIY CFL setup for my grow space, but instead of making holes with a drill driver or find a piece of wood to stick all light s sockets into it ,i thought why not use a track lighting,
I am still not sure if it works.because i couldn't find any cfl grow setup with track lighting on internet. i just draw it on a piece of paper to give you a little visual of what iam trying to say.
i am not sure about the wattage limit of a track too.

any advise ?13444275_10204948016175104_593342220_n.jpg

This isn't a bad idea, it'll give you options to move heads around. My only thought is that most of the track heads kind of cup the bulb, since they're made for more spot light kind of bulbs. So I feel like you'd be losing a lot of light since most of the bulb would be recessed. I always thought a good fixture to use would be those 6 light vanity fixtures that look like they should be in a Hollywood dressing room. It comes with the whole thing pre-wired and they are pretty cheap.

Haven't used these for a couple of years since I went LED but this worked well and cheap/fast build with a couple of those vanity lights...
