cfl v flood light?

Hi just wondering if anyone could tell me what would work better for flowering a 125watt envirolight 2700k or a 500watt flood light hps it is not like a normal hps that u would use for growing just a flood light but its all i got at the moment.any help would be greatly apprecated thanks.

Your flood light would most likely be halogen which is no good for growing (lots of heat, bugger all light that the plants can use) a cfl would be better. Just go for a 400w hps.much better

thanks thought halogen was like 6500k this is really yellow i cant get anything at moment but when i can a 400w sounds good.peace ps just realised its halogen so i will scrap that idea.
