CFL Stacked-Box Grow

Ok. So, here's the deal. I moved recently. I don't have much space, but I do have lots of boxes. This is going to be my first CFL grow. Also, it's going to be in a box! So that should be fun.

Anyways, I'm working out my plan for my first indoor grow. I wanted it to be small. I wanted it to be cheap. And most importantly on the DL. I don't like my neighbors, and they don't like me. >.>

So, with this in mind, my finger tips upon my keyboard, and a whole joint into goofy land, I voyaged into planning this mofo out with the help of a good friend of mine (who I met on RIU, btw. Stop being so paranoid, people!). This is what I've come up with:

THE SETUP:

-Size of box space: 16in/40cm length, 1ft/30cm width, 3ft/1m height (all maylar'd out), I'm working on getting bigger boxes, though (also to be mylar'd out).

-Light: 12 CFLs - 6 42w lights (3 for flowering, 3 for vegging), and 6 23w lights (3 for flowering, 3 for vegging), which comes to 195 watts for both 2500k-3000k range (flowering) and 5000k-6500k range (vegging)

-Grow medium: Soil I've got from summer. It's fine.

-Ferts: Fox farms ferts. Good stuff.

-Planter type: 3 or maybe 5 gallon grow bags.

-Ventilation: I've got some hole cutting to do, but it's in the plans.

-Harvesting/drying/curing: I'll probably just dry in the box setup itself, then cure in jars. Possibly water cure.

So that's my plan so far. Mind you, it's still in rough draft form, so don't be too harsh. I am a beginner at this, you know. All info is good info. ;)

Also, I'm not sure what I wanna grow. Something small for sure. Maybe something like night shade, ata tundra, black domina, something really small. Clones would be nice. But I dunno where to get them.

So.... what does RIU think? I think it sounds fairly solid (ventilation would be the only problem I can think of really, but that's nothing that can't be solved with cutting some holes and rigging up a fan), as does my buddy.

All HELPFUL and TASTEFUL replies appreciated. :bigjoint:

I'd say it's too small. That's more than enough lighting for a box that small. With a box that small and tall i hope you intend to spear it(cut off it's side branches every 1-2 weeks during veg). Also do you intend to put it into 12/12 immediately?

Eh... wasn't planning on 12/12 straight from seed. And the space problem is being fixed. With bigger boxes.

Anyways, again, this is a work in progress. So all kinds things can change.

@BeginningBotanist

Seen that. Looks far too complicated, though. I'm going as ghetto as I can (without doing damage to the plants) with this grow.

Also, pics of my box setup are coming.

Ok, so, I somehow lost my ruler last night, so I couldn't take any pictures with units of measurement.

BUT

I did put a pizza box in the shot. It's a Domino's large pizza box. So... if you know how big one of those are, you can get a good idea of my current (but being enlarged) grow space.

Picture one: The stack of boxes. Each box is 16in wide, 12 inches deep, and 12 inches tall. Stacked upon each other, they come to this:

Picture two: The stack of boxes compared to one Domino's large pizza box:

And here's the base (width x length) compared to one Domino's large pizza box:

And here's inside the box stack (not mylar'd yet, I don't know if I'm stuck with these yet, might be getting bigger boxes). It measures to 3ft/1m tall, 12in/30 cm deep, 16in/cm wide:

Roughly sized out, I know I can fit at least one black dom or ata tundra or night shade or NL in there grown from seed without any real problems. But I want to grow at least 2 plants (all for personal use), so I'm probably going to be upgrading my boxes to allow for some more room.
