-Bro they sell the socket part at WalMart, it's like 3 bucks. Then just cut a cord off of some old radio or something. use wire nuts or splices and connect them.

just go to any hardware store anywhere. there are multiple options for lighting a bulb, from wiring stuff yourself, to just buying a simple clamp-light and removing the crappy aluminum reflector.

as for the other guys advice, (and no offense to anyone) but if you are having problems figuring out how to get some bulbs lit, i'd stay away from doing any sort of wire splicing.

take a look at my icon pic thing
see the clamp lights total cost was like 25 bucks for 3 clamp sockets and 3 27 watt bulbs. Lowes or home depot will have them. Going out tomorrow and buying the biggest cfl and another reflector to.

oh also if your going with the clamps make sure they are nice and tightly secured so they dont slip and fall on the plant..... This has happened to me :/
glad to tell you she's all better now :) but still careful with the clamps

nah not using clamps just ganna hang them down in different levels towards the bottom of my grow to help get a fuller spectrum and help with the lower bud sites.
my main light is a 250watt hps

I like the clamps because your can easily move them where ever you need light. They can be positioned so that they reach right on the inside of the plant where new branches are starting to form. So i got a 1 foot tall bushy as hell plant. Ill post a pic tell me what you think :hump:

If you can find a better cheaper set up for it to reach the inner lower buds i would be glad to see it and try it out :)
