CFL light change over

Ok quick question.

I have been using a 130W 14000K for vegging plus 1 30W . I was using about a 16/8 light cycle and it went great. Every morning I would get up and I could see huge change in height and thickness.

I recently switched to a 130W 2700K and went the 12/12 light cycle to induce flowering. Anyway it's been about a week and no flowers which dosen't bother me, but my plant has stopped growing tall. I was kinda counting on a little more stretch during flowering to get my ultimate height. I kept reading that during flowering your plant will "triple in size" but so far it hasn't done much of anything.

Anyway, my question is, should I keep using my 14000K light on 12/12 cycle until I actually see buds, or should I keep at the 2700K?

At the moment I have just started about half and half, but let me know what you guys would do.

Cheers

I've read about people on the site mixing spectrums with good results (gives you thicker buds). Right now im using some blue light cfls with my red spectrum ones and they're flowering fine (i have more 2700ks tho).
Personally, I'd do it because a lot of people agree that more light is never a bad thing.

I think its more to do with the strain you are growing, i have 3 different strian that i'm growing, one streach's like hell, but the others are staying quite small

i'd have all those lightbulbs you listed above shining on the plant if i were you...also, depending on how long you vegged them for, it might take longer for the sex to show and for them to start budding. best of luck man

I'd love too but I don't have the room. I am going to go back for my 14000K for a while until I have my height to where I want it. But I'm not going change my light cycle, I'll stick with 12/12 to help induce flowering. I'll report how it turns out.
