Cfl grows ww x bb and mystery bean opinions needed on growth

I gotta say i like the look of ur plant man & it seems to be flowering well in schedule with what u'd see from CFL growing. And they look healthy & responsive enough too.

Tho the main thing i like is how u have topped as thats perfect for lowering that crazy CFL into as a sorta vertical grow! (must admit, i never seen CFL that shape either!)

And the 1 thing i was gonna say is u could use how its topped & the way its stretched abit to perfect advantage around that bulb. The stems seem ideal height around it already, but i'd say try & find a way of staking them closer into the bulb instead of being nearer the walls. If u can get them to within a few cm's, so they're near hugging round it, they would show a good increase in growth.

I do CFL's & any buds within 5cm's will show major more growth compared to those at 15cm's. Obviously u gotta be careful of leaves sticking out sideways into lamp, but u can always use bendable garden wire to bend them out the way by hooking them back onto leaf stem behind them. Plus it is a pain constantly adjusting it all to accomodate natural size increase but worth it in long run!

But thats just a slight input; otherwise i'd say it looks damn good to me & i think u'll enjoy the fruits of ur harvest certainly!

(Oh, and lastly, i can't remember if u had a reflector over that lamp in pics, but if not, then thats priority No.1 for sure!! But like u say, i don't wanna be arguing basics either dude! lol!)

Actually theres just a reflective board above it now i added some supplement cfls a little too late into bloom, but i mounted all of them onto a board with a aluminum foil of some kind on it, i figured it would do the job but all of this plants life with the exception of maybe 5 days was spent under just the one bulb, thank u for the compliments on it though i do appreciate the input

Although Whoooaaaaa!!! After just re-reading top of page, we may have to argue basics!! I sincerely hope that camera u flashed round the dark door was within 20 mins of lights either going off or coming on, and not few hours into dark period??!

And to answer u last posts (since ur right, no-ones replying quick!), i'm not 100% sure on dark period but must admit i do it too. I usually do no more than 36 hours (i.e. they do last night of normal dark, then no switch-on next day, then they stay dark that night too, then i harvest at what would be normal wake-up time the following day.). To be honest theres a million arguments online for & against dark period but my reckoning on 36 hours is it adaquately satisfies both the pro criteria for crystal production/using up nutes argument, and the against arguments that too long dark will start to sap its vitality.

And with ur trich pics (btw the 3rd pic is one of best close-ups i seen in a fair while! - shame other 3 weren't as sharp! lol!), i;d say they look good as higher % look milky, theres good low % of strong ambers already, and most of the clears look like they starting to milk up anyway. I can't remember how long u said been in flower but if over 8 or 9 weeks then i'd say probably near done, and i seen more immature trich pics for sure! Up to u obviously tho dude! Looking nice tho!

don't worry bout how late u added lights - they'll provide a boost at anytime & at least u got them in place for next time.

Glad to hear u got top reflector going on too - might not be so essential with that shape bulb to be fair, but it will deffo add benefit regardless. Possibly even for ur bulb shape, have a look at buying/making a round, parabolic shade as that might reflect that bulb better, especially if hanging vertical.

And final thing i wanted to say, was u said u got diamond mylar (or is it still coming?) so use that instead of alu foil for sure. Again i don't mean to sound derogatory but alu foil is proper shit for reflection that the plant can see, and if u can't cover everywhere with mylar, my budget tip is paint it thick with Matt Brilliant White Paint; this will reflect a whole load better than foil and causes less hotspots. (tho hotspots not a real prob with CFL's anyway)

The pics were snapped maybe a 1/2 a hr before light tops other than that she has been left alone shes been in darkness for about 28hrs roughly so i think ill cut her tonight, and move my ww x bb into that cab after i add the mylar, dunno here shes in a small pot but i dunno if i wanna transplant her this close to bloom, ill attach a few pics of her

Ok so relined my bloom box with mylar, (had my gf order it while i was working told her to get diamond mylar and unfortunately i got mylar emergency blankets because it was "cheaper" so im sure you guys can imagine my disappointment when i opened the box) but once again ill make due with what i have, besides im sure its better than the aluminum foil i had before, so anyway my question is since i have 3 out of 4 rooted clones (rooted in aerated water) and rockwool in a 2" net pot can i transplant the rockwool cubes into soil in small pots veg for 1 week and put them into flower? Or would i be better off to just clean out my aero bucket and drop em in there for bloom? Im gonna be running a perpetual so im just curious which way would be less stressful on the little clones.
