Hey guy's started an afghan kush ryder this is my second CFL grow and so far things are going alright. I'm using 4 23 w 2700k and 2 23 w 5700k bulbs. Started to notice some preflower's. However in the beginning of the grow , after sprout the plant's leaves didn't grow for a good 5-6 days and then it took off. It's been about 18 day's and preflower's have started forming but the last 2 or so day's I haven't seen any new growth. Started hitting it with some FFGrow Big just a little amount. Here are some pics from its birth to its current state.

Update I removed one of my 23 w 2700k light's due to some noticed burning but here she is the main cola is starting to produce some white hairs hard to see in the picture but they're coming.

The light's are all about 2-3.5 inches away, I have two intake fans and one exhaust Do you think i need to raise the lights.?

Is there any reason why this is so small, or am I being impatient with this. I have been feeding it FF grow big, however but since its flowering should i be giving it flowering nutes now or can it still handle the grow big? I also only spike the water alittle bit with the nutes. Here's a pic from today.

Thanks for the feedback, will definitely do yea I've been checking out a lot of other people's threads and noticed some are around the same height But like yourself I've seen monsters. I thought about putting her into a bigger pot, the pot I'm using say's it can hold up to 16" So i was going to give her some more time in it.

UPDATE: I have seen little growth to the lady in the last 5 or so day's and I am beginning to think the pot can't handle it anymore. It's a 6.4 diameter self watering pot. The last couple of mornings when the light goes back on (from its 20/4 hour cycle) the plant's stretch towards the lights which are very close and point's upward for hours, I never really see them relax and straighten out. I am beginning to think its root bound are some updated pictures let me know.

I've heard however they should be in atleast 1-2 gallon pots. It just seems as though the growth is very slow whereas auto's are very rapid. I guess in the next couple of days I will decide on whether I should transplant. Quick Q about transplanting, when I remove the plant from its original pot and put it in the new pot, should I put new soil in first or surround the old plant with new soil?

Photo0147.jpgPhoto0146.jpgUpdate day 27. I am almost sure now that this is root bound can anyone confirm? Hasn't grown in over a week. It's pistils are growing but no new growth, or branching. I think its time to transplant. I asked above for transplanting when I take out the plant from its old medium and put it into its new medium should i put in new dirt first, or after.
