CFL grow 37 days in.. lighting? fans?

Hey, here are some updated pics of my CFL grow I've been posting on here.. I've been using the "Buds For Less" book and am 37 days in.

Questions:
1) How is my lighting placement looking? This is a stealth grow, so I've had some limitations due to the size of the grow box. So far I'm using 8 42w CFL's.. mostly 2700k temp.

2) Can anyone suggest a better fan placement? Right now I'm barely keeping it below 80 degrees. I have the fan clipped to the front of the grow box pointing in... would it better for me to somehow push it to the back and have it pointing out? What if I put it on the floor in the back pointing up?

3) (related to #2) How sensitive are these plants to wind? I'd like to have a more aggressive fan placement but I don't know how much shaking the plant can tolerate.

Thanks!

1) The light placement looks very effective, and appears to be covering the whole plant.
2) I can't tell from the pics if you have an induction or exaust fan but if you don't one might help. Maybe fan one forcing air down from top and one forcing air up from bottom.
3) As for a more powerful fan inside it should be fine as it will make the stems, roots and branches stronger, just make sure to ease it in.
Looks great so far, Keep it up!!

yo man sweet cfl grow.light placement is just fine.and dont worry about that your plants will not like more wind.if they were younger then yes-but 4 know more air and wind is good cas as it said youl have a stronger and thicker stem,..

keep up the good work...

lookz really nice...
the amount of lights look perfect(nice yield)
...but i could see in the last pic that ur lite burnt the tip of the leaf.
i use cfl's to but not as many as u in fear that they'll grow to fast one day and burn.
but in all aslong as u keep a close eye u will have a successful yield.

Thanks everyone for your input! Yeah, I'm always fearful that it will grow into the lights and burn... sometimes I think that fear keeps me safe LOL... From what I'm reading the damage from burnt tips is outweighed by the benefit of having the lights close. I have this on a midnight to noon schedule- I check it before bed when the lights are up, then come home at lunch to shut it down.

I've had a few other mid-leaf burns that came from some flying lamp mishaps... NEED. MORE. TAPE. .. lol !

Overall, I will say that these plants are amazingly resilient. I mean, I've had several burns and (knock on wood) it keeps on growing. I also think it's interesting how growth slows the closer the lamp gets.. it makes sense why, just interesting to see in practice.

In the BFL book it says you can't maintain a plant on a cfl grow that's taller than 24".. is that a steadfast rule or is that approximate? If I wind up being 26" or 28" is that like some colossal failure?

You can always bend the main cola down so it stays under 24" lol.
as long as your buds are getting light, and yours look good, i never worry about too high.
Then again I lst to keep everything as short as i can.
My 18" females are bent to a bit over 12"
with no ill effects.
I love compairing my grows to that book.
The only thing i do different is start 12/12 sooner than he does (day 8-10 vs day 16) but on the first day they show sex, i go to day 31 in the book and im good to go from there.

I just did some bending.. definitely aleviated the problem.
