Im wondering if I can use 6700k cfls for vegging. And 2700k for flowering on my afghanis and delahhaze seed. Keeping them smaller for a cabinet grow.
CFL for photoperiod?

The k doesn't make it possible or not, it's just a matter of better or not.

No problem. Surround the plant and figure out a reflector system. Keep plant small and LST for an even canopy.
It's honestly a pain in the butt to rig a bunch of CFL's when a 150w HPS would be much better and likely cheaper to purchase. Look at sunsystems 150w HPS on Amazon. Great for a small cab grow.
To vent the heat you can use an air purifier from Walmart. They draw a lot of air and cost only $40. It will help filter the smell too, I built a holmes air purifier into my veg cab. Works great.
