Ok i have a HERMIE that i sperated from my other 3 ladies so they dont MATE. I am using a 150 Watt HPS for the other 3 girls, but for the hermie i have to have a different setup. What kind of CFL should i use and How many watts. When sombody says, 150 Watts per plant does that mean 150 Actual watts or 150 watts but only uses 65 watts. Or do i need like a 500 Watt CFL and it uses 150 watts of Electricity? Just a little comfused, any help would be nice.

2700k 100 watt equivelent or higher mostly and some 6500 just for a better light spectrum

like atleast a 4 to 1

but the more lights the better definately, as long as you can keep temps in check

use 6500k color temp for veg and 2700k for flowering. and the more light the better. since ur using cfl's buy alot of them. im currently using 3 23w and 3 26w cfl's and i am gonna be getting a 400w hps to add to my cfl's mainly for the flowering stage. i have 3 plants. you may even find it cheaper to just buy an hps because all the cfl's you would need to flower with will probably add up to the same cost if not more then an hps. the sooner you start flowering the less light you'll need. light mainly depends on how many plants you got and the amount of space your using for your grow.

Ok so right now i have 1 CFL like 4 inches from the top. I believe its 2600 LUMENS like 2700K not sure anymore i bought it a while back at LOWES so.......Is this going to be good, i think i need some down lower too so the nodes lower can get more light does not look like they are getting much light cuz the top is soaking it all up. The Hermie i have i cut the balls off but i have it seperate from my other girls in a RUBBERMAID Box temporaraly. And i just have a clamp light with the 1 CFL right over the top of it with a fan. My other setup is way better in a Hydroponic tent. But this is all i got for now until i get some ideas on what to do with my hermie. Its looking Great thats why i dont want to just kill it. Any suggesstions for 1 plant?? Or some links that maybe sombody could point me to, i have been looking on ebay...but i just dont seem to be finding what i need. Thanks!!!

for flowering you want the soft white MOSTLY and then just a couple daylights all of these are available in wall mart for cheap
or you can go to a hardware store and get sum higher wattage ones for a little bit more

soft white = red spectrum 2700
cool white = medium 4100
day light = blue spectrum 6500

you want a lot of red... however having alittle but of the rest of the color spectrum is beneficial for your buds the more lights the better as long as the temp is down if you can get higher watts you can use less lights compared to if you were to use 100 w equivilants.
