got one plant in a closet with two 23 watt cfls and one 43 watt cfl. 21 days into flowering. two days ago did my first "bottle" nutrient application. Fox Farm Big Bloom and Snow Storm Ultra. Will also use molasses once i make sure my plant handles these nutrients well. Also there is wood ash and egg shells in the soil. Its bag seed from low grade bud. hows it look? (pics taken with camera phone so quality is low)

Looks great man, what's your ventilation setup?
+rep
unfortunatly i have no ventilation. the only thing i paid for is the lights and the nutes. this isnt a serious grow this is just for me to get a little experince before i start a serious one lol my ventilation is opening and closing the door lol even manually shut off each light at 7 am and 7 pm lol

True shit, my first grow wasn't serious either and I ended up learning a lot from this website and others. haha Once you do start your serious one, I would definitely invest in a few computer fans, I have 2 for the intake and 1 for exhaust. I found these nice 3-speed fans at Staples for like $10 and bought 2. Those are my intake. haha
And unless I buy a timer before mine flower I'll be turning my lights off manually so you aren't alone. hahaha
Best of luck bro.

I'd certainly get some extra lights UNDER her.. at least next time you might should think about it. She is trying to crawl right out of her own dark spot..

sounds cool but you could make your own setup for a fraction of that price.. whatever works for you though.., take a look through some of the journals on this site., alot of these dudes start from scratch and end up with amazing grow setups.. with creativity- the sky is the limit.

JQuick..

IN the future.. next time..

You should LST her so ALL The buds run just about equal to the lights..

You could LITERALLY fit the entire plant you have now in a 18 inch tall space under your lights..

Wont help you on this one, but next time take it into consideration when growing indoor under CFL.

my next grow will definitly be under HPS. i just used cfls because this was my first grow and i didnt know what to expect. and ive done ALOT of research on growing, thats basically all i do with my free time juggling school and work. growing is such a passion for me now. even if for some reason i couldnt smoke anymore i would still grow. for sure. and about the LSTing. i have done a good bit of reasearch on it but im not really sure exactly what to do. the instructions i always find are to vauge or to technical for me to understand. could u possibly give me like a simple description of how to do it correctly? it would be greatly appreciated

Looks good. I might recommend spreading the lights out. The plant absorbs light from the sides and the bottom leaves as well so you might better utilize your lumens by putting two bulbs up top and one on either side.

think it would be a good idea to keep the 43 watt directly on main cola and put the reflectors back on the 23's and move them out a little and angle them towards mid plant?

That sounds great. In my last closet grow I had several plants and was able to blanket the top with small bulbs and drop several of the large ones in between the plants. Worked really well - results are in the 388w grow in my sig.
