this is my ghetto bagseed closet CFL grow. I have just over 100 total watts of cfl going on this girl. this is my first time ever growing or even seeing a flowering plant in real life, so I'm pretty excited. straight water- no nutes. mg organic soil.:joint:

well looks like a plant to me.. But she doesn't look as healthy as she should be. You are definitely lacking some nitrogen.. And looks like you may be overwatering a bit.. Considering its your first plant tho.. I think your doing alright :leaf:

thanks for your input. I know I need to use nutrients but they confuse the hell outta me. What could I pick up from Lowe's or Wal-Mart that would be satisfactory in the nute department?

an all purpose fert will work for now till you get used to using it, something like shultz all purpose.. Don't start off with the full dose, if the bottle calls for like 4ml of fert to 1L of water only use 1mL of fert per 1L of water which = A quarter of the full dose.. I'd start adding fert every second watering.. And increase the amount of fert as you notice progress, until you reach full strength :leaf:

It looks to me like it's a bit underdeveloped for day 25... Those look like mine on like day 9

Definitely get some nutrients in there, pick up some quality nutes if possible it's worth it if you care about your plant and plan on doing another grow

I recommend Earth Juice which is an all-organic brand of nute that can really help your plant out. They can come in a 3-pack of Grow, Bloom, and Catalyst which are all useful for Cannabis if you plan to grow more

For now, it does look like she needs some N

As for

IMO, your plant looks that way because she doesn't have the optimum amount of light on her. Don't get me wrong, it is possible to get bud from your girl as she is but I promise you will have overall more yield and more dense buds if you get more lights in there, if possible

You should grab a 50w LED to help with lighting or you may be wasting your time. My plants done under cfls were flowering for 4 months but never really formed buds except on one plant that I cut at the bottom and produced two nugs the size of a quarter round...

or get a 150-200wHPS, it will be worth it...

no offence guys but people really need to stop recommending HPS to every first time CFL grower. listen friend, if you get an HPS, yes you will get a little bit more bud, but you will need to buy more fans and heat will become an issue. stick with CFL untill you know what's going on.
personally, i've had more success with CFL than HPS like many other people and the great thing about CFL is you can easily get some more CFL bulbs to add more light to your grow. You can use them in summer etc

DUDE I TOTALLY AGREE!

CFL's can produce damn fine buds, if applied properly. CFL's need to be very close to the plants and in high numbers in order to reach the amount of lumens that cannabis needs to grow right.

Also, when it comes to spiral CFL's, they need to be horizontally facing the plants, or else you are losing light that the plants could use.

Check out my grow, links in my sig
I'm using entirely CFL's and my plants aren't look too shabby if I do say so myself

Also MYLAR. Mylar is a very reflective material that should go hand in hand with CFL's when growing in enclosed spaces.

I have 100W cfls per plant, same as yours: the differences are that bulbs are placed horizontally (perpendicular to the plant) and roped to keep them adjusted, with mylar reflectors (diy, made of cab's reflective material leftovers) SO I 100% agree with weedoozie.

I agree also about the overwatering, the worst problem you have right now

dunno about the N but if these ladies and gentlemen say so, they're prolly right :)

aside from these lil problems, I'm sure you're heading for something real nice, good luck bro! :)
