Alright, so here's what we got:

1) 4 plants growing - random bagseeds.
2) Sadly, MiracleGrow Potting soil is being used, but with Perlite. It's about 75% MG soil and 25% Perlite mixture.
3) As of right now lights are: 4 23watt 6500K CFLs and 1 26watt 5000K CFL, positioned 6 to 10 inches away from each plant. 18/6 Veg lighting schedule.

Tuesday: Germinated seeds planted and watered
Wednesday: Nothing
Thursday: Very slight watering
Friday: 4 out of 4 seeds popped the soil
Saturday: Nothing
Sunday: Watered
Monday: Plants 1 through 3 are doing good, but possibly stretching a little bit.
Tuesday(Today): Watered

Plants 1 through 3 are doing very well from what i can tell.

However plant 4 is seeming to have some trouble: it is shorter than the other 3 plants, it's leaves are smaller than the other 3 plants, and there is a yellow spot on one of the leaves from it's first set. It seems to be stunted in growth although i can see some slight progress, only about half as much as the others though. Any advice on this would be wonderful.

Pictures coming soon :] ....I need batteries haha.

Your comment has absolutely nothing to do with my grow. Start your own post if you want me to see it, otherwise, this thread is not about YOUR grow. With that said it obviously looks good. I just wish i could delete your post.

im a newbie myself so dont listen too much but in my first week i only watered once and that was just before i put the seedlings into the soil. also i put the lights about 3 inches from each pot. then again out of my three little uns one is on steroids and the other 2 are abit behind. sorry i cant be much more help but dont worry too much (i know its hard) im sure sometimes they grow at there own pace.

IT has been 7 days since they first popped the soil. One of them is doing completely terrible and doesn't look like it will make it, i think they roots got damaged or i may have possibly over watered. How are they doing so far?
Also, why are the leaves pointing up so much? Are my lights too far away? Or is there not enough lights? they're running on 4 23 watt 65K CFLs's and 1 26 50K CFL

lookin good, but move those lights closer! You have a fan on em, to strengthen the stems?

and lol @ the attempted highjack!

Move your lights closer, make sure you keep the temps in check, and get a fan. I like the newspaper pots. Never seen that before. Kinda interested to see how that works out.

i've used the newspaper pots 3 times before for the first couple weeks of growing, they work good enough when you're too broke to afford real pots..
and i moved the plants about 2 1/2 inches closer to the lights.
the little shitty plant kicked the dust, but i expected it to.
probably going to pop 4 more in the soil sometime friday/saturday.
thanks for the help guys!
