CFL Cabinet Grow Questions

have a few questions about my grow setup i need some advice. i will put up some pics if i get some feed back. i have a cabinet i purchased from lowes its about 3 or four feet tall i covered the inside with mylar and added two 80 mm pc fans. i also have two 65 watt cfls and a 4 inch metal desk fan. i had a seedling sprout and was about 2 inches in one day under 24 hours of light. in the next two days it looked like the plant dried up and i did give it water. so i am thinking the box is to hot and there might be to much mylar or not enough fans. i started over and now i have to seeds that germinated pretty quick. i am using the same method but keeping one of the cabinet doors open for more air i also added a bowl of cold water to bring down the heat. can somebody please give me some advice. i will put up pics =D
