Dude it's 9 p.m. where I'm at I'm sorry if it's late for you you didn't have to respond
That's not late but still kind of late.

Most of the traffic is a little earlier on the site.

Just saying you got your answer and then brought a thread from 2009 back up. People bust balls for that around here. They busted balls for less and can be dicks. It was kind of self explanatory anyways.

Iistened to the same advice when I went to t5s. They will fry plants without touching.

Just a heads up.

Watch those fox farm nutes in your avatar if you are using them. I've seen a lot of plant problem threads from people using them. A little goes a long ways.

Ok I have seen a several people on here say, get the florecent lights as close as possible, even bumping or touching the plant. That is BS:cuss:!!! I came in today and saw a nice healthy leaf burned brown and curled under from a 100 watt CFL! The light had swayed slightly causing it to gently lean on one of the leafs. WTF!!! I removed the light and misted my poor scorched baby. Even the rest of the healthy leaves on the same plant were dry looking and wilted over from the bulbs heat! CFL's may run cooler, but I have learned CFL's can definitley damage a young plant first hand!
It is only a leaf man, relax, small sacrifice... Of course, it will burn if it touches... Try holding CFL bulb while it is on.
