So this lady took a prank picture. Big whoop. I'm readin that people on Facebook want her job to fire her for this...IMO its the same as taking a pic of yourself smokin in front of a no smoking sign. People are so damn uptight nowadays it's not even funny.
People need to learn to relax and have a good time.

It is in poor taste... And it's publicised.. I don't find it offensive because I'm a social disaster but I can understand others being upset. Perhaps the boundaries shouldn't be pushed until the point it hurts someone...

She took what she though to be a humorous pic. No maliciousness intended. Everyone's boundaries are different, and in this great free country of ours, we don't have to NOT do something because it might hurt someone's feelings. I doubt half the people squaking aren't even offended, they're just looking for something to be angry and shake there fists at. This is what I mean about people being too sensative. It's just a pic...

ironic comedy based on the fact that her actions were meant to be offensive.
Again, it was based on "fuck authority" similar to smoking in front of a no smoking sign. not intentional offensiveness. I read the article, the day before she had posted one of her smoking in front of a no smoking sign, it was a theme type deal. Not too hard to grasp.

"fuck authority" is meant to be nothing BUT offensive. you can't seem to grasp the whole idea behind her actions. it was meant to be "funny" BECAUSE it is offensive. she was on a company trip. and she is now unemployed. who's laughing now. http://news.yahoo.com/prank-photo-tomb-unknowns-sparks-backlash-143533783--abc-news-money.html

She had the right to take the pic, post it, and suffer the repercussions of it imo.

Posting that shit on facebook is pretty dumb, just asking for everyone to give thier opinion on it.

The pic needs context to be judged, as a picture alone it's a comedic attempt that ended in failure, but if viewed as a political statement then it becomes something completely different. The latter seems more relevant as her middle finger is blurred out.

The context i get is that regardless of how this pic is viewed, it was intended to "stir the shit". It just so happens that some of the shit stuck to this woman ;)
