I wonder if this trait has been exhibited in any other plants from the rest of the the papaya seed stock..

I know what you are saying, but this bud is a freak brother, and where there is one freak, there might be another lol. I'd still give it a shoot.

Sorry but I have to agree with BC & others on this one.You could have a super rare plant that you could keep going even if it doesnt turn out the same. But the odds are very good.CLONES ARE REPLICANTS OF A PLANT!!!! You would be an absolute fool to not clone this mutant beast. I dont believe for a second its from nute burn !! if it is Im dumping full bottles of nutes on all my plants from now on. Wildest plant Ive ever seen!!

here is a baby pic of the plant when it first started mutating. maybe after i harvest i might reveg and get some clones. all the branches are loaded down with nice bud. the olny option is revegging.

Now your talking! I have just recently heard of revegging after harvest.Im definately looking into to doing the same with a plant we are about to harvest. But I did cut my 1st ever clones off this plant and am really glad we did now. They will make excellent mommys. Its a really branchy bushy plant.the one in the pic when harvested was 28' tall and we counted 38 nodes total!!(nothing like your freak of nature) but still a good cloner and producer.A very forgiving strain(bagseed) whatever it is.Your plant is like a giant bar of gold bullion in the growing world!! I agree with getting in touch with high times or a seed bank.Theres people that would have great interest in that for big $$$$$
Not trying to hijack your thread just giving my own reasons why you should clone if possible Peace Bro:joint:

1st 4 pics are Janes progression to flower. last 1 is the 2 clones/mothers from Jane.

This plant is the greatest thing I have ever seen, if it isn't cloned I will cry. You can still have a harvest and re-veg the plant as well.
