Cedarcide repellant

It says it deters slugs, gnats and other insects.. Wonder if it would be a good base under a smartpot. Or a light top dressing.. Anyone tried it or use it in their mj garden?
Cheap and natural.

but cedar chips work ok by themselves as a repelant , but bugs themselves will usualy just findaway around

it's cedar oil mainly. Just like gognats it may be harmful to your roots if not diluted.

And the only time I considered using Gognats my hydro shop guy says "it may kill your plants" so I went another route.
Something like this may be easier on roots...
