Just noticed I made a mistake. The bud picture above was from day 53 and not from day 55.

probably not going to do another smoke report.
I have a question when you do your two harvests on one plant how long do you leave the bottom part of the plant in before you cut her down. I just harvest a bubba og Cut the tops off dried them but while they were drying I let the bottom continue to bloom One of them had Crisp leaves although it was in bloom and not really drinking the water so I cut it down The others still have soft Leaves and were drinking water when do I cut those down

do you simply use a Micro scope
On almost every plant I do a multi stage harvest because very few of them are ripe throughout the entire plant. This could mean two harvests or as many as 4 or 5 harvests depending on the plant.
Its why its imperative to keep as many healthy green leaves as you can for the entire grow.
I have let the bottoms of plants go for 2-5 weeks after the start of harvest. After you cut the top of the plant you raise the lower part closer to the light and let it go for a while. You will increase the overall yield and those buds will be as potent as the top buds.
I go by the look of the plant to my eye. Then i look with a scope.

Each plant is different so you will eventually find the optimum times for harvest. You will find that there is a point where you get diminishing returns and 3 weeks might be better then 5 weeks.

It depends on the health of the plant but i usually keep feeding.

I have never grown organic but i have tasted a lot of organic pot. And i mean a lot. I used to live in Oregon for 15 years and I did the taste test many times. Sometimes the organic would win but not enough to convince me of any taste improvement. As a matter of fact, the organic lost more then it won.
Im thinking its really the pesticides that might change the flavor.....and growing skills.
