catapillars everywhere!

I have so many trees in my backyard that are infested with catapillar tents! I keep killing them everytime I see them but I see anywhere from 3-6 of the little plant eaters floating from the trees to my deck. I'm afraid they are going to get to my plants but ive been lucky so far!

Best solution to my young plants? Netting my little girls? Screen around the drainage holes at the bottom of the pots?

I don't have a problem as of yet... However prevention is key!

If you do have a problem and want to spray something, monterey BT works great for caterpillars. They will avoid plants with this on them

Thank you for that suggestion and I will def keep this in mind.

On the other hand, I'm more concerned with prevention. Everything is preventable and the easiest solution to avoid a problem from the get go....

Theres not much you can do besides completely covering your plants with a net, which will block some light. Or spraying them with the BT and the caterpillars won't touch them
